It is easy enough to navigate and use, but it just looks too kiddy, like a fisher price toy. You might like the look of it, but personally I don't.
I personally don't like avatars, I think there is not much point to them and think they are very kiddy like (But then I think the whole NXE has changed very kiddy i.e. big bold colours and chunky.)
It is better to download things in a queue, one after the other. If you download several things at once they take longer to download altogether, than if you downloaded them one after the other.
It also pauses downloads so that it doesn't interfere with any online component in a game (xbox 360 does the same).
So this article has no basis, and just seems to be more flamebait against the PS3.

The main one I disagree with is Best Action Game - I think this should of gone to Uncharted 2 as I thought actual gameplay of Alan Wake was a bit disappointing.

I thought it looked crap. The ricochet game just looks stupid, and it didn't look very good for driving. Also it needs work on its response time and detection as it had a noticeable delay from moving and sometimes didn't respond at all.
The video reel was obviously just a mock up, and the avatar control and richochet game looked imprecise and a little unresponsive.
The Milo demo looked impressive, but actually when it comes to it, it is just smoke and mirrors. I think the Eyepet looks more fun to interact with and you can actually draw things and they can be interacted with in the world. I don't actually know why Milo is getting so much appreciation and yet Eyepet is being overlooked when essentially they are ve...
I don't think coming out at the same time as CoD:MW2 is a good idea, as it will probably be totally overshadowed.
Uncharted 2 impressed me more than anything from microsoft.
I think there is flaws in Natals design:-
*It would be weird holding out hands as if holding a steering wheel, and I don't know if it could sense you moving your feet as if braking/accelerating.
*Voice recognition is a ropey program, and with the vast amounts of different accents in the world, I am not sure how well it would recognise different voices.
*Doesn't seem to be much precision to it, case in point, the painting program.

Looked very accurate, you can actually write with it, and not like Natal where they just slopped paint towards the screen.
Seems like it will be more practical for normal games, even First Person Shooters.
All of that video reel was scripted.
I think microsoft tried to make it look better than it will be, with the video reel being a mock up of what they think you could do with it.
The painting presentation looked kinda cool but didn't look like it had much precision to it, but I am sure kids would enjoy doing it.

Looking forward to what further announcements they have coming. I think PS3 fans will be happy come tomorrow and MGS:R going to 360 will be all forgotten about.
