As has been posted a couple of times, the {cough}kick ass{cough} news is Marcus and Dom being available in Lost Planet 2. Which is just a bit meh to me :/
I think the oval bit might be a button to change the colour of the light in the sphere.
It wasn't too bad, except for the fact, that American TV seems to have a crap load of adverts and that Geoff Keighly overhyped the announcements. Don't get me wrong they look solid games, but nothing blew me away.
It wasn't that great. None of the announcements were anything overly special, and none made me think I must have that game. Geoff Keighly Just blew it out of all proportion.
Shame Sony didn't release the new GoW3 footage that is supposed to gobsmackingly awesome.

It doesn't make sense that AC2 won best action adventure, because UC2 is an action adventure game also.

Great game, first day buy for me, even platinumed it. Everybody should experience this game :)
Only disappointment is not many people seem to want to play it online, even though it is a lot of fun as well.

I used to buy them regularly, but with the advent of broadband, I didn't feel the need to buy them any more, as I could find the latest news and reviews on the internet.

You need a sky subscription, you need to have Sky multiroom and you need gold account. Also the picture quality (on High Quality) is crap and it doesn't have many channels.
Might as well just buy a set top box and have much more channels and better picture quality.

It does happen in the industry i.e. publishers threaten to stop supplying review copies if their game is not given a decent score or they let publications be the first to review their game if they give it a decent score.
If you don't think this happens then you are very naive.
If you pirate games, you are basically a thief. How many of these thieves go in to shops and steal from them, not many I wager, but just because they can mod their system they think it is alright to do so.

So far it is giving me Deus Ex invisible war vibe i.e. they have totally dumbed down the interface.
The inventory was cumbersome in the first one, but I didn't expect them to totally remove it in the sequel. I thought it just needed a better interface, as I did enjoy working up to the most powerful weapons/armor.
There doesn't seem to be much to level up also, and therefore not much to work up.
I enjoyed driving the Mako around in the first one and going...
