I had never heard of her before. Then my Girlfriend showed me a picture of her and that is the first thing that came to my mind.

This statement is his opinion and as always people will blow things out of proportion. Political Correctness is severely out of hand.

This guy is getting on my nerves. All these PR mouth pieces just make me not want to by their games. Mr. Hines tell Bethesda "I can't make a new game engine and rely on pc mods to fix glitches" Softworks that I will not be purchasing any more of their games.

I agree completely. This goes to the old adage that some people can't walk and chew gum at the same time. Most gamers can't think and play at the same time so obviously the control scheme has to be the problem. So this is next-gen where everyone wants the same game every couple months with a little palette swap and script change. I will say it before and I will say it again when you cater the masses you cater to the lowest common denominator.

I would have liked co-op with the ...

What I want to know is why did they not make this game 4 player co-op? It seems like wasted potential to me.

Also I think CliffyB, in interviews, never gives direct answers. "Cool" and "Bad @ss" are not sufficient ways to articulate points.

I don't care about the graphics but I do care about the fact that this game is remarkably similar to Hunter the Reckoning. Aside from being first person, L4D even has similar character designs. Give credit where credit is due. Whats a matter Valve, running out of ideas?

Disagreeing is totally acceptable as we are all allowed our opinions. What gets me is that certain individuals deem their opinions better then others by offering erroneous logic.

At the end of the day we will just have a different opinion on what the definition of improve means and that is fine, just don't tell me your definition in right.

It's called implementation. People have been "jumping" long before Super Mario Brothers came along. When you place it in the context of video games or home consoles it changes the argument. People were playing guitar way before Guitar hero. Scene It the board game was first but Scene It the video game was not.

So by your rational Call of Duty just copied WW2. Its semantics and rationality. In this instance you could constantly prove your point by simply naming a game that came out before another game because in the end aren't they all games. The devil is in the details. Everyone borrows ideas, but to say that Microsoft doesn't outright repackage others ideas as their own is ludicrous.

This is just Hunter the Reckoning in first person and it looks about 3 years to late. By the way HTR is one of my favorite games.

1:1 should have been in both the wiimote and nunchuck from the beginning and they should have both been wireless. Nintendo just scammed us all into believing they were trying something different.

Where is The Guardian Legend?

I have some characters from Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, and Vagrant Story. I have spent more time making characters than playing the game.

Thats pretty messed up. If they worked on the game why not give them credit? If someone leaves for a better career opportunity or personal reasons, why should they but cut from the credits? Gaming is becoming a very dirty business and I for one am growing tired of it.

Invisible walls are never a good thing. I think Assassin's Creed used the narrative really well to achieve believable boundaries. On the flip side, COD4's infinite respawing enemies took you out of the believability of the story and somewhat beat you over the head trying to reiterate the point that it is a game.

You would figure these writers would get their comparisons right, but I guess the prerequisite, for writing about games online, is just typing 15 words per minute.

Metal Gear Online has seriously wasted its potential. If they would have streamlined everything through the PSN this would have been one of the most played games online, but they wanted to be greedy and most gamers didn't want to deal with the hassle. Signing up just to play MGO was like pulling teeth. Hopefully they learn for next time.

I think technical limitations only help make games more creative. I think many games now look brilliant but are somewhat superficial. Many games just don't seem to have soul now and if SOTC would have been made this gen I could see it losing a bit of the essence of what it is.

For the record I was playing SOTC earlier today on my PS3 ,and when you up convert it to with wide screen enabled it looks incredible. At times I forget it is a PS2 game.

COD4 is way overrated and I am tired of all these needless comparisons. For the record Halo didn't revolutionize console first person shooters, Quake 3 Revolution did. Killzone 2 appears to be raising the bar on so many levels and the media just wants to dumb it down so they can have an excuse to praise Halo 4 and COD6.
