I don't know that said logic is applicable here... Kenzan and Ishin would not be "new releases" in a meaningful way imo. They released in 2008 and 2014 respectively. Yeah, they never released in the west, but they would effectively be remasters themselves. Additionally, while remastering the numbered games instead of remastering ishin and kenzan, they put out yakuza 6, fist of the north star, judgement, and yakuza like a dragon (all new).
With how Team Sonic has handled the IP and how Yakuza has been handled by comparison, I would say give them a chance.
I bought it, I enjoy it, but I absolutely agree. I have been waiting a long time to play mario 64 again and mario sunshine so I bought it anyway (sorry). I don't necessarily think they HAD to do remakes / remasters of these titles but as a big anniversary thing, for the price it was, and with the limited time thing? A big name like nintendo should have handled this much better. If they didn't want to invest time or money into these titles they probably should have just released each f...
I don't think Bioware said that? I believe that was an insider report, maybe by Jason Schreier. At one point or another there was definitely a lot of leaks suggesting it was going to be / dev was rebooted to be a live service game and with EA I would believe it. It also wouldn't be anything new for the series (speculative, its how it looks to me) with how they seemed to want to copy their success with mass effect 2 in dragon age 2 (move from un-named protagonist to a named one, move t...
First game was great! Enjoyed it more than most rogue lites. I'll have to keep an eye on it.
I hope so, we know it will play ps4 games but I'd be happy to hear that it can natively support ps1 and 2 games as well (also for 3 but not holding my breath on that).
And perhaps slightly more obviously, Trench is voiced by James McCaffrey (Max Payne).
I doubt the name had anything to do with it not coming to the west. I also doubt that the developers didn't know the game was localized in the western under a different name. I mean, maybe not a first but they certainly must have heard about it not too long after the western release at minimum (and for all we know they were involved in the selection of the localized name in some capacity, localization teams DO work with original dev teams a lot of the time).
I have hea...
Sigil is a campaign episode mod made by John Romero for the original doom (1993) not doom 2016. The buckethead soundtrack is pretty great though.
Sadly only an IP block removal. Had the game been localized I would have dropped everything and gone to buy it. IP block removal might be an improvement (some dedicated fans would likely take advantage) but its too much effort (looking into fan patches if there are any / if allowed and setting up JP accounts and stuff) for something that may be an oversight or may be switched again later.
Not sure why bringing a service, that players fought to get back, to interest people in playing is insidious but ok.
Actually, kindof? Not deadlines exactly but publisher budgeting can largely determine the amount of post-launch support a game gets.
I liked the new colossus but not as much as the new order or even the old blood. I am not very interested in youngblood despite arkane helping with it (I really enjoyed prey). The two protagonists are kindof off-putting for me (hard to say why exactly but something about their personalities is kindof grating for me from what i've seen so far) and judging by the handling of the new colossus dlc they seem to want to stick with their increased difficulty which I though hurt the gameplay. Not...
I actually was very interested in the original rage and that had absolutely nothing to do with breaking bad or motion controls (I didn't watch breaking bad and have never cared for motion controls).
I actually was interested because it was a new shooter coming form one of my favorite studios (id). Having said that, I was very disappointed in rage and felt like it was an under baked mash up of ideas that didn't turn out very well other than the gun play.

Agreed, and/or a more open emulation approach (allow use of old game discs or the equivalent). It does seem like they gave up on it however.
The divinity original sin games, persona 5, Dragon Quest XI, and Octopath Traveler say are still a thing.
Not as much a thing as they were in the past but while they are fewer, there are still great turn based RPGs coming out.
I guess all those price drops and bundled copies shortly after launch, which didn't happen for the other Bethesda (developer, not publisher) games, were just out of kindness.....
Not buying the spin on this, or anything else related to 76 for that matter.
I recommend looking up LGR's review of morrowind on youtube to learn more about it.
I don't know that I agree with these changes. It seems to me like a lot of the time the review bombings are deserved and are within the scope of a users own subjective review.
The article mentions a quote where it is said most users don't care about certain issues. This doesn't make sense to me, as the reviews are left by users. So if being bombed by enough people to make a difference, it stands to reason that it matters to a lot of the users.
I would love to see a reboot that keeps the spirit of Turok 2 specifically. I also would like for nightdive to get turok 3 up on pc/modern consoles.
