Not only are FPS not popular, but neither are western RPGs. Nintendo is extremely popular there as well and they take a huge share of consumer's mind share and preference in game genres. They are also very nationalistic and both Sony and Nintendo reside in Japan. So I guess all of this makes sense as to why Xbox would not sell in that market. So yeah, much more complex.

They wouldn't. PC gamers have so many options that maybe a handful would buy a PS5 machine just for a sequel. Include all the exclusives and then maybe.

Of course they can't match it. Sony does not have deep pockets to be able to make such a move. MS on the other hand has been in the enterprise space making money hand over fist as well as having a huge r&d budget. Sony can't even come close. Gaming...lol.

It's strange they claimed a flying mount would not be double without more advanced tech when Far Cry has a helicopter you can ride, co-op even, and rain down on outposts. I'd like to see the technical deats they want to accomplish.

OMG! Microsoft is firing on all cylinders! While others are looking at mysterious ports, box art, remakes of failing first party franchises, price hikes, being lied to about no cross gen... MS is bringing more gaming to more people with cross gen, Play Anywhere, Gamepass, xCloud, new studios and amazing veterans!

If Sony bends you over, so be it. For some its not about whats ethical, its about a brand.
You could always cancel your service and then start up again when a game you want to play comes out. Drops the cost over time significantly.
