Wow cares if it "kills" anything. I think what everyone should consider is whether they like it or not. If not, fine...go waltz done to the Apple store and get a neat-o ipad. I totally agree with your statement. HALO:REACH really impressed me. From the art design, to the characters, to the gameplay, to the graphics, which even though its colorful looks more realistic than all the previous ones, and the story. As you stated, this is simply an OPINION. Someone could play REACH and not walking away with the same feelings and that's okay. Infinity Ward doesn't get credit for BUILDING the entire CALL OF DUTY franchise. I say play the game for yourself when it comes out and that way you won't have to guess what the next review score is going to be. Dude I seen one for myself and the 360 S is out...u probably don't believe it because it's sold out but it is true. I knew that the new model would spur interest but not like this. Wow. And even though Kinect didn't impress me with it's game lineup, I did like the vid chat and what not. Who cares what resolution the game will run at if the game LOOKS stunning? I would care if it was sub standard(below standard def lol) as long as the graphics looked good. It's senseless to bash the 360 for not being able to produce decent graphics. Have they produced a game like Uncharted? Heck no. But with games like Rage coming out you would be delusional to dismiss the console as not being about to produce good graphics.
