My favourite is how there was no hidden agenda but you're forced to use vehicles if you spawn in them as a screaming Nazi or british woman which makes no effing sense but whatever DICE thanks for forcing that on us too.
A lot of people bitched about BF4 having too many guns that felt too similar or whatever but not gonna lie, that might still be my favourite by a long shot in terms of what you had at your disposal.
That's why I said somewhat more authentic. BF has always had whacky gameplay. My issue is with the alt WWII experience that they've given us. I don't like it because the game has been taking so much flak and then when they change back to Modern again they're gonna say "but we've already done a WWII shooter and look how it turned out" when all the community wanted was an ACTUAL WWII shooter just with the classic staple gameplay. BF1 was something else altogether,...
They actually wanted to make some tangible changes and everyone had a whingefest about it so they didn't stand their ground and changed things immediately. Kinda disappointing to be honest but will still be a great game
