Okay Mr. "I make random fake numbers because I can't just admit that Xbox actually did well."
When people say social media has no bearing on businesses and products. This is great that the voices have been heard and Sony admits they made a mistake.
Why not both? I think photorealism was always an ultimate goal of gaming let's be honest. Think of the immersion with playing games that will provide you with that "real life" feel.
I BARELY got a Series X. I have been tracking PS5 every day since launch and only had 1 opportunity to buy a disc version and passed up on it because I want a Digital. I have had notifications on for this Tech Radar guy that claims to always have the first drop update for PS5, but still no luck. Happy PS5 hunting all !
Just because there were women in the game wasn't the problem....
It was the "our take on WW2" basically was NOTHING like WW2. Also there were a lot of dumb issues with the game that shouldn't happen. Coming in on a C47 that is marked with GERMAN crosses?! How about the times the plane was marked as German and yet here you were a British soldier. How about having a character selection EXCEPT for vehicles where you were forced to listen to a ridiculously ove...
This game was a piece to the Sony puzzle for why I went and bought a PS4 last gen. Having a dedicated sports game as good as this one, along with the quality exclusives won me over. Now this is on GAME PASS?! Things are finally just continuing to get better and better as a long time Xbox owner as well!
I wonder if they're just bringing back the things they implemented late in BF1, like how you could unlock and choose different little basic perks, but nothing absolutely game changing. If the perks become like CoD Perks, dear god they've ruined BF once and for all for sure. Battlefield is BEST as doing it's own thing, not trying to become a different type of game.
BFV was the worst Battlefield, bar none. Fun at times, but my god as a long time BF vet that game was disappointment after disappointment.
I understand what you're saying, sometimes you feel like just a cog in the wheel. Yet, I've always found that I elevate my play when there's that many people. You are able to influence an entire squad with your actions like flanking or good team work using the Comms etc. It's one of the reasons that makes a Battlefield experience so exciting to me....the general chaos around you, where you can choose to blend in or take a different route and punch a hole somewhere else in the...
I always thought Xbox Live was a cool name, they should keep it but I get the rebranding if it coincides with a re-launch of what the service is
I am absolutely hurting for a new Killzone game. I was always so jealous of my friend growing up who had a PS2/PS3 and had Killzone games. We always played them. It was the main reason I bought a PS4 for myself as an adult. I Really wish Sony would bring back some of these legacy names that were so essential to the Playstation like Killzone, Resistance, and Motorstorm! They can take their time and ensure they do it when the time is right but maaan one can wish for it on PS5
This is exciting! A cool looking solution to go with PSVR
Well yeah I know, I actually don't get up in arms about this stuff, I just thought it was kinda funny and sad how they think a $200 Battle.net gift card was a nice send off for the people who got laid off.
"they will also get a $200 Battle.net gift card."
What a nice way to remind them they get nothing while Kotick gets an insane 200M cashout.
I am so excited for this game! Finally some news!
I mean considering the event was repeatedly said to contain NO news regarding new games or announcements for them and that the event shouldn't be treated as such, you should consider enjoying the fact that some big things still happened. This event was an "allow me to re-introduce myself" for the deal being finalized.
Also that Greenburg didn't overhype and overpromise was nice
Spot the Halo hater
What you are describing is likely not going to ever happen, as regulation would prevent Microsoft from somehow manouvering and becoming a pure Monopoly in the market.
This State of Play was a massive yawn fest unfortunately
I really wish Sony would do something like this. In Canada it has been IMPOSSIBLE to get a PS5. I've had 2 chances to get one where I could have grabbed a disc version, but stupidly tried to grab a digital instead (which have been selling out instantaneously). I know they have Direct, but that has been for US only customers unfortunately.
