The PS3 is region free and I'm Japanese. I feel bad for other fellow US/EU PS3 gamers though. They have to wait till the 360 version is complete, which sucks.
I like the new design as well. I used to be an XMB style fanboy but I now prefer this style over the XMB.

In the new 2.4/2.41 FW, you don't have to press the PS button anymore to proceed with the firmware installation. I'm guessing it has something to do with the new auto shutdown feature. This "possible" exploit will probably lead to no where.

What!? Since when? Can I seriously buy a brand new 40gig PS3 for $300 now? Far as I'm concerned, the 40gig replaced the 20gig model which initially started at a launch price of $500.
According to your logic, Sony officially raised the price back another $100 when the 80gig PS3 re-released. lol

Too bad I don't have an iPhone anymore. There are some awesome apps on the Apple Store that I would have loved to use.
My only gripe with gaming laptops are the battery life. I had two and I hardly ever use them for gaming so I got rid of them.
If Qore can get me into beta's then it's all that matters. :)
