I'd like to see a computer rated at 3.2 ghz with a total memory of 512mb produce a game as beautiful as MGS4 or any other PS3 exclusive. What about a brand new $400 PC vs a $400 PS3?

They'll be eating their own words when the PS3 drops to an exceptional mass market price of ($199). Who wouldn't want to get a PS3 with all it's capabilities then? $200 PS3 vs $100 Wii? The PS3 will make more of an impact than the Wii or 360 in that price range. It's proven, the mass market wants the Playstation but they're waiting until it's much more cheaper. The Playstation brand will reign on top again this generation. Mark my words.

These PR guys talk a lot about high development costs. So why not release this game outside of Japan? I'm sure it does not include as much dialogue or subs compared to a typical game. I can see all the potential consumers in other regions besides Japan that will enjoy this game.

The only people I find shouting lack of colors as graphical limitation are from the elite 360 fanboys. Before spouting out crap again, look at Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Wipeout Pure, and Motorstorm 2 as reference.
Miyamoto entering the stage pretending to play an instrument and holding the Wiimote in front of his mouth was pretty embarrassing to me. In fact the entire WiiMusic presentation was pretty embarrassing.

It's not really a problem for them. FF's biggest fanbase is still Japan. Not only that but they get first treatment. I know I'll be enjoying the FFXII import on my US PS3 just like I did with MGS4 and GT5P. Thank Sony for region free PS3's.
