Strongly doubt this. Microsoft needs presences. With the PC market slowly eroding Microsoft is losing presences. The Xbox adds to this and just gives one more selling point for the Microsoft ecosystem.
I would say something is off about the screenshots. I have never seen a 360 or P3 with pixelated image issues. It would suggest looking at the first that they had a much small image of the 360 and tried to blow them up. Bogus comparison, though I'm sure at the end of the day the PS3 will look better.
The difference is Microsoft has opened Pandora's Box in the past; Windows 95 - XP. Last generation the Xbox was basically a PC and people installed Linux on it. I think MS got upset over the whole thing but couldn’t block it. So this generation they decided no Linux. Long and short they wouldn’t have gotten into the same conflict with Geo Hotz. Sony messed up from the start trying to appeal to the homebrew people. If you look at my old post I stated they will have a change of heart when t...
I think this would be best for gamers.
I guessing many people didn't watch. Not sure how you can dis Top Gear??? Car looks stunning and the best part is you can do tons of customization. The lighting detail is crazy. I can agree with Inside_Out to a point; yea Dan Greenawalt probly sleeps in his car but that’s a good thing. A people that passionate are going to give you there all, and really make a great game. P.S. I’m not sure why PS3 trolls are commenting on a game that isn’t the PS3. It's like they can't stand for t...
Only thing that could be worse is if Microsoft took this time to anounce the next system.
@snork That's some fanboy loyalty there.
Sony, isn't free to make cost that cause other people and companies money. If credit cards have been stolen or bank account information from Debit cards. That's a big deal the bank has to investigate, not only that its a hassle for the person. If someone hijacks your identity from the information here and opens up tons of credit cards. You will spend a lot of time trying to get that stuff removed and prove it wasn't you. No only that it could affect your ability to get a job as cr...
@Bear_Grylls and @Oschino1907
Maybe it's time you guys picked up a book and read what the job of congress is in situations like this.
Maybe I'm the only one here but I'm starting to see a pattern, PR team incompetence, PSN network team incompetence, upper management in handling the situation incompetence.
Sony is the one to blame for throwing out the statement the PS3 is unhackable; then using that as the only security point to protect PSN members. Poor security... In this day and age you don't put up something without having multiple layers of security. Maybe if the spent a little more money on securing their network and not Blu Ray disc. Silly because you guys are justifying the guy who leaves his door unlocked in a neighborhood of thieves and wonders why his house gets robbed.

Hate to say I called it.
I don't think anyone is over reacting; this affects the millions of gamers that are online with the PS3. There are two schools of thought on this be a fanboy and put all your eggs in one basket or diversify and buy multiple consoles. I agree with the second school of thought diversity, you get a bigger game library and you insure you have multiple sources to game on.
When users buy a PS3 or Xbox360 they buy it for the experience. When the 360 had all the RROD issues everyone was mad at Microsoft for doing such a poor job on the hardware. We can look at Sony with a frown over this issue because they are suppose to build a network that stays up and can handle attacks against hackers. Over the past year Sony has shown they have a bunch of guys who aren’t too good at writing secure software; COD4 Hackers gone wild, PS3 certificate hardcoded to the console, An...
@Codeman420 They did read the link above.
This website looks to be a fraud, trying to get hits. Anonymous in the past has been more boastful about its feats. They would have made another video and so on, to brag about their exploits. Before Sony came out and said they were dropping the case Anonymous came out and said they were backing up because they didn’t mean to harm gamers and were going to approach it from a different way. This harms gamers big time, plus GeoHotz is free.
Edit:
Proof it's not Anoy...
Is the software it uses up to pair with Microsoft's?
It's funny because most of the people commenting have no understanding of hardware. Memory speeds aren't the only thing to look at; you must look at bandwidth no name one thing. But it's always good to have a laugh.
@DJMarty at the prices they were charging it would have been worth it to pay the extra 60bucks for even 2GB.
Microsoft selling the Xbox would be a sign of things to come for the company. The Microsoft brand name has really taken a hit since they failed to get into Mobile and Tablets in a timely manner and PC sales have been contracting. Xbox really the only place where they can keep Microsoft as a viable brand. Thought I have to say I have my doubts here. Xbox One has certainly started off on the wrong foot.
