NFTs are born out of the idea of art and collectibles. While I can see some people embracing this stuff, personally, I am into downsizing more then collecting now. Collectibles and art are for the richer versions of people as far as I am concerned. I have collectibles, but that was from a different time in my life. I won't see any money from them, but if I die, my kids may choose to sell them for profit.

XB traditionally has not waited long after generations change to stop manufacturing their consoles. Flops or not.

Games sell consoles. And Nintendo has some of the best IPs in gaming.
Ya, it is like they are trying to say PC isn't as good as console. Sorry, PC has the best hardware, so if you wanna play the game on ultra-wide or with the best graphical experience PC is where it is at.
Switch is crushing it.
PS5 is doing much better then XB Series. And when you compare it to last gen when PS4 was outselling XBO 3:1 at points in the generation, PS5 outselling XB Series about 1.7:1 is not all that great of news. That's saying, "Although we are losing total market share we are killing it". No company wants to lose market share.
It continues to surprise me how well this game keeps on going.
To be fair Switch is putting a lot of consoles in the dust. Switch has outpaced the best selling console of all time... PS1.

Nope. If you look at their yearly sales I don't think there was a lot of fluctuation in XBO sales on a yearly basis. I will agree that the XB brand improved a lot in consumer minds by the end of the generation, but for there to be a comeback of XBO, it would have to have sold substantially more in 2019-20 then it did during the 2014-18 years.
Xbox One didn't make any comeback. XB as a brand has made a comeback but the XBO will go down as one of the most disappointing consoles. By the end of the generation essentially XB had "stopped the bleeding".
It is all about supply. If the supply is there PS5 will sell. Especially with staple franchises like Horizon, GT, and God of War shipping this year.

Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Coleco Gemini, Commodore 128, Commodore Amiga, Atari 5200, Atari 7800 were all massive failures and in most cases cost their companies participating in future gaming generations.
I can't complain with Sony's first party exclusives since launch. All have been very high quality.
The only real gripe I have is the first party dead spot from June 11, 2021 with Ratchet and Clank to February 18, 2022 for Horizon Forbidden West. This gripe applies to XB as well. December 8, 2021 and no specific ship date for the next first party game except Starfield November 11, 2022.
Oh and the other gripe I have is Sony's turn around on ...
I really like this Halo game. And I am glad it is back.
I have played thru most of the campaign, and it is just a lot of fun.
MP also a lot of fun.
But it isn't flawless. In the campaign, you should be able to replay missions and it desperately should've shipped with Co-op. Also, bad things happen with quick resume.
On the MP side they still have to have a full fix for match making.
Killer Instinct was pretty much the highlight for MS the last generation as far as I was concerned. They just kept making it better and better.
And they have Playground on Fable. So I am confident that will be good.
People think that once a company says they are making a change it just magically changes. It takes years. They are getting there and with each of these acquisitions it will take time. They buy the company, then wait for regulatory approva...
To be fair, EVERY company will try and milk gamers if they think they can get away with it.
