It's EA so why are we still surprised at this point?
I wouldn't say its objectively better, there are some things that the souls games do a lot better than Nioh and vise versa. However I have had more fun with Nioh than ANY Dark Souls game. Bloodborne still trumps them all as a true masterpiece but Nioh can easily challenge any of the Dark Souls games.
Sony might lose some battles here and there against Nintendo but they won the war before Switch as even launched. The market share they hold this gen hasn't been seen since the PS2 era.
Nioh just got great DLC and there will be an announcement this E3 for Horizon Zero Dawn"s expansion. Did you pick up Persona 5 yet? That game is at least 125 hours minimum.
Meanwhile on Xbox you buys just had what Voodoo Vince? Other than that you're going back to Halo 5 which is a 2015 game. I might as well do Bloodborne's new game+ lol

It will be $499 minimum. Phil Spencer already said that they will be still leaning on the Xbox One S for the bulk of their sales. Scorpio is trying to take away the power advantage not the sales advantage.

Days Gone didn't have the same punch you in the face reveal that I remember with Horizon Zero Dawn, but the game still looks great. Been a Dynasty Warriors fan ever since I played DW3 on the OG Xbox. Last one I bough was DW8 Empires. I've really been more into the Empires series over the years than the main games, hopefully there's some elements from Empires in DW9. Either way what we have seen so far looks great and I'll be getting this at launch
I don't understand articles like this. The PS4 is Sony's fastest selling console of all time and is very likely to surpass the PS1 to be their second best selling console only behind the PS2 which is widely considered to be the greatest console of all time.

I dont use either to determine which games to buy, that should be based only on what you prefer. However I do look to Metacritc as a general consensus of how a game performed with critics and the overall gaming community. The Last of Us for example had an extordinary amount of positive reception regardless if there are a minority of people who somehow didn't like the game.
