Finally someone with some sense. I never go by review's cause it is based on someone's opinion, and lord do i have a different opinion than most. But to the game, i gameflyed it and sent it back next day. And i am so glad i canceled my pre order.
First off,Treyarch had only 12 month's to make part 3 and now they get double the time. This is will be just as good as 4 or probably better.
And to the noob's crying and going to be crying blah, blah, blah, blah it's WW2 game. All i can say STFU, if you don't like it don't come read about or don't buy it. You are the type of guy's that cry's when i am owning you in COD4, so i would prefer you not to buy World At War.

Wow it took you 2 week's to hit lvl 55. I can have it done in about 10 hour's of toal gameplay. No wonder you didn't like it, you was getting owned constantly.
IMO MGO doesn't hold a candle to COD4 in multiplay. Of course that my opinion but i know alot of people that feel the exact same way i as i do. That's why we haven't seen any online stat's far as average per day or anything like that. Well the article say's lag free on PSN. Yeah my arse it is, everything i have played is dreadful laggy on psn, U3, gt5, MGO. And U3 is by far the worst. I have tried dmz'ing or changing nat setting's and everything nothing work's. But my 360,wii,psp,and ds play flawlessly online. It will be a while before i can put PSN in the same breath as Xboxlive.
Well the problem lie's in, A magazine i can flip to the next page and skip the ad. With qore i have to sit through a burger king ad that i have to watch and don't have an option to skip. And as you say you don't have to purchase and i will not purchase another one until they get rid of the ad's that i have to sit through. Just add a skip option and everything will be fine.
This is really laughable, show's how people hype stupid stuff up. There was no other big release. Mariokart for the wii was in second come one people that released when in japan. People are making a big deal in japan about sale's but i haven't seen any other figure's. My understanding is that it didn't do real well in the US or UK.

Well i beat it in little over 11 hour's on normal. But if you can skip past something in a game, be it cut scene's or level's. That is not gameplay cause you have an option of passing it. Gameplay hour's should be based on actual gameplay hour's. I am sure if they would have said actual gameplay hour's would have been 10 to 15 hour's, there would have been a big lash out.

This is why i quit going by review's anymore. People can't put truth into there reviews anymore. Super Smash Brother's for the wii, Perfect Score. Give me a break. I know MGS4 is not perfect cause i played the beta. I would deduct 15 point's from the review cause of the multiplayer being so bad "IMO".

Dithering and banding has nothing to with 24bit palette, really depend's on how you do your filtering. There is color banding in GT5 Prologue so does that mean it is using a sub 24 bit palette? It is at the start of the begining cut scene when the sun come's over the track.
The color pallette has everything to do with it, they chose graphic's over art direction far as color goes. The only way to achieve those graphic's on the ps3 with it's memory limatation's is to strip out all the color's. Which is great cause we get to see these great graphic's, but i don't know if i am to fond of looking at grey all the time for everything.
