I really dont believe this. Unless a spokesman from Sony states that the event is actually going to last for 5 hours then i wont believe it.

I think there have been rumours previous years that the sony conference was supposed to be superlong but they always turned out having a normal 1.5-2 hour conference.

The only way i can see them doing something like this is if they are announcing PS4 at the conference aswell. That would give them so much to talk about t...

I remember seeing gameplay from this game and it sucked. Certainly not one of E3s most anticipated

I never expected to get any welcome back gifts, but it is kind of disappointing that i own all the games i can choose between. It is definately unfair that the loyal customers is not getting the same reward as everyone else is, ideally it should be the other way around. However there probably are no fair solutions to this. I just wish they added some more rare games to the list.

All the attention? Hardly a fact. It will get more attention than it deserves but BF3 will get a hell of alot of attention because it will be the best game this year. Thats what i believe anyway. The graphics and the realism in BF3 is just to good to be overlooked, even Medal of Honor which scored pretty low sold many million copies last year.

Stupid question. Thats like asking why havent they hacked the PSN before? After all its been up for over 4 years without getting hacked. Also i think its fair to say that hackers have been targeting Sony in particular lately. Have you not heard of anonymous?

Im sure sony should have had better security. I just find it amusing how people bash sony for their poor security even though they have no idea how good or bad security they had.

The logic seem to be that since Sony got hacked their security must have been bad which again would mean that only poor security networks get hacked. Ofcourse we know thats not really true thus we dont really know if Sony had good or bad security either and everything we say about it is speculation....

"if sony had ACTUALLY LISTENED and fixed their security holes which they knew all about for months and did nothing about it NONE of that would have happened"

Except they did not know about them which means your entire argument is dead.

Seriously what do you think sony have to gain not to fix security holes they were aware of? Sony is the biggest loser in all of this, if they knew about it they would have fixed it.

My god what has N4G become. You cant even defend something without being called an extremist fanboy. Let me tell you something and this might be hard for you to understand because it actually makes sense.

Its not what you attack or defend that makes you a fanboy. Its the reasoning or lack of reasoning you use when you do so. If you defend sony and give a valid reason for it then that doesnt make you a fanboy. However claiming that everyone who defend sony are fanboys without...

How would you know? For all anyone knows Xbox live could be hacked tomorrow. The only moral in this story is that all personal information should be encrypted, not only CC details. I have no idea wether or not Live encrypts personal data. For all we know they dont, in which case they have done the same misstake as sony.

4776d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

It really doesnt matter since they dont store the CCV codes. There is no reason why he should intentionally lie about it, its just an honest misstake.

For everyone getting upset about this just read the article. There is nothing to be upset about.

"You can’t keep the PlayStation Network online, which just happens to be your primary gaming and content delivery service"

Ehrm. They could easily just turn the system back up. After all it was they who shut it down not the hacker. It just so happens that they decided to rebuild the network. is he saying they shouldnt rebuild the network or is he saying its taking to long in which case he has no idea how big of a job that is. Nomather what its just a stupid thing to...

It depends how it is encrypted. If it is implemented well then its practically impossible to crack. But if there is a weakness in the encryption then it could be cracked.

When they shut down PSN they said there had been a breach. Thats all they knew at the time, on monday they found out of the theft. This is the hackers fault first and foremost

You cant say how much RAM next generation of consoles need based on how much RAM is used in modern PCs. There is no games out there that are really utilizing next gen hardware. How can you possibly know how much RAM next gen games will require?

It will also depend alot on the kind of game. Open world games for instance require more RAM then other games. We want the next generation of consoles to give us even bigger open world games, even more objects and characters on scre...

It might be next gen in terms of power, but you wont see any games using that power until we have a new generation of consoles

4792d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

I wouldnt be to sure. If you have a PC from 2005/2006 when the Xbox360 and PS3 came out you wont be able to run the most demanding multiplatform games. And the games you actually can run you will have to lower the graphics settings alot.

Since next gen consoles arent even about to come out (probably not before 2013) you can be pretty sure that those consoles will be able to run more demanding games then your PC. That probably wont be a problem with the first games, but once ...

Making a PC game that only High end PCs can run is a really bad idea. First off all you cant make it for consoles so you lose alot of potential buyers, and secondly only pc gamers with the newest and best hardware will be able to run your games which means you lose alot of potential buyers there aswell. Still wondering why no PC game have "next gen" graphics yet?

4792d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

The developers that say they are ready for Next gen are ready. This includes developers like Epic, Dice, Ubisoft, Crytek etc. Ofcourse there are studios that wont be able to handle it that well. But i think alot of the studios that arent ready are just mediocre studios and will eventually disappear anyway, or they are smaller developers that are going to have to focus on downloadable games. I think in the future we will have fewer developers making big budget games but the developers that do ...
