I can see this perk getting extremely aggravating, if the whole enemy team is full of snipers wearing heavy armor.
There really should be armor-piercing ammo attachments or perks that counteract and neutralize this armor perk.
Massive overhaul?
How about adding the two BIGGEST changes fans have been requesting for years: Dedicated servers, and a new graphics engine?
Now, THAT would be major changes. Rehashing the same engine and network code again and again from 8 years ago isn't what I'd consider a "massive overhaul."
Is this an old rumor?
Seems to echo this rumor of an Xbox One delay from a year ago (GiantBomb): http://www.giantbomb.com/xb...
I think the biggest incentive any game--not just Battlefield--could do in order to incentivize teamwork is to count certain support actions or objective captures as "kills" that partially count toward one's kill total. This way, kill-whores will feel more inclined to engage in the spirit and flow of the game in ways that can actually help the team achieve victory, since such actions can serve to pad their meaningless stats that they care so much about.
This hark...
They're destroying the competition... by destroying gaming.
Can't wait for Double-Lag weekend.
Considering 10% of the Xbox One GPU is reportedly being reserved for the OS, they still have a quite ways to go.

Yes, my interpretation of the story and the character was that Joel was obviously deeply, mentally, and emotionally traumatized and scarred by the loss of his daughter. Hence, the somewhat irrational attachment (borderline obsession) to Ellie, and keeping her to himself no matter the potential cost to mankind or the greater good.
Him constantly calling Ellie "babygirl" throughout the latter parts of the game, for example, could be perceived by some as somewhat creep...
I don't think "angel" or "demon" would be apt descriptors for Joel.
Upon reaching the conclusion of the game, I think "borderline sociopath" would be a better label.
Aren't .50 cal snipers supposed to be used primarily for disabling enemy vehicles? As opposed to taking out human targets? I would hope this weapon can be used to penetrate jeeps, ATVs, boats, and even choppers/jets.
@mewhy32:
I call bullshit on the "lowest common denominator" prediction.
There's every possibility that the Frostbite 3 engine scales with the platform it's running on. That should mean that the PS4 version wouldn't be held back by the Xbox One version (or the 360/PS3 versions, for that matter). Visual quality and performance of BF4 will likely be maximized (to some extent) on whatever platform it's running on.
How about Treyarch do something useful in one of their patches, and actually fix that god-awful lag compensation?
Even an Xbox One developer admits the PS4 is more powerful.
Argument = ended.
@Mounce:
Titanfall was developed by a small team, and comparatively looks much less ambitious and smaller-scale than Destiny. Its budget is probably even smaller than Killzone Shadow Fall, for example.
Titanfall is a multiplayer-only game that doesn't even have a real single-player campaign (the "story mode" is just playing on the MP maps with bots). Generally speaking, it's the single-player modes that cost the bulk of the money, developmen...
@Darrius Cole:
Destiny isn't being released alongside BF4, COD: Ghosts,or Killzone SF, so I don't know what your point is.
Also, Destiny is being released on 4 platforms, not two. I think Destiny has a pretty good chance of selling 10+ million copies across all 4 platforms (PS3, PS4, Xbox One, 360), especially with Activision's marketing force behind it.
Kotaku? No click.
Maybe now Ballmer will finally lose that annoying hair on the sides of his head as well.
To be honest, it only got good on PS3 a short while ago, when they FINALLY removed that horrendous input lag that plagued that version of the game for a year after launch via patch.
That flaw has been fucking up my enjoyment of this game for a long, long time.
Wow, that's awesome! I've had BF3 on disc now for years--and have logged many hundreds of hours--but I've always wanted to the downloadable version for performance and convenience reasons.
The difference is that the fish actually run away from you when you swim toward them.
