I know a lot of people wont get it and take it too serious but that was funny as hell! LMAO!
What it revealed was a petty person who attempted to shame Microsoft and 343i for Halo's success. It was an attempt to cast suspicion on the positive reviews Halo 4 has received. It was juvenile and really doesn't point to anything other than the pettiness of fanboyism.
Really? This franchise has faltered. The first game while flawed had a great sense of humor about itself and was fun. The second too itself way too seriously and this installment just looks silly.
Call of Duty doesn't need defending. It's detractors are the minority. Every year gamers speak with the purchases. The huge numbers who continue to support the online communities are an indication of the games' continue popularity. THIS.IS.A.FACT.
I wished the reviews had been held back until Sunday night because I can't wait all weekend to get this game on Monday night.
The problem with reviews from many sites is inconsistency but different reviewers have different opinions of games. That's why if you're looking at review scores to decide on a purchase, you look at a consensus; What's the prevailing opinion. The prevailing opinion is, Halo 4 kicks a**!
Gimme! Gimme! Gimmeeeeee!!!!!
Can't wait to pick this up on Monday night! Great job 343i! Congrats on a great game!
It's his opinion but it's my opinion the reviewer is a moron. Respect it and move along.
They did. The didn't send review copies to game journalists before the game's release because of this.
He's entitled to his opinion but he's in the minority. Medal of Honor's biggest problem is expectations. It doesn't have the polish or originality of it's competitors and where it innovates, it's half-a**ed. He mentions the fire-team system as an innovation but it's so poorly implemented, it's simply a hurdle. The game simply feels unfinished. Gaming journalists have reached a consensus, so it's not like it's a handful of journalists who shares the same...
Handsome Jack is the most lovable villain in a game since the Joker in Arkham Asylum. He's funny, engaging, a narcissist and a sociopath and you just love him.
I loved Reach. I guess there was a sense by Halo purists that Halo was becoming Call of Duty or more accessible. Who knows. The game still has a huge community so maybe the hate was more perception than fact.
He basically question the impartiality of games' journalists. As gamers we've long held our own suspicions when we see publishers wine and dine journalists, that's nothing new. What he did was name names and call out behavior which can be considered a conflict of interest. I applaud him for being brave enough to.
Dull days for Call of Duty. With a new one around the corner, the diehrds are trying to finish other games before Black Ops 2 arrives. Loving Minecraft though. If there was a game to dethrone Call of Duty even for a short time, I'm glad it's Minecraft.
Loving this game right now but $50 for DLC is just disgusting. I wont buy it but I feel like I'm being cheated out of a huge part of the game. When a game is about cars and a large fraction of a game's inventory of cars is only available as preorder bonuses and DLC that's disgusting. I suffered through it with Forza 4 but this is taking it a bit far!!!
Get ready for the onslaught of negative reviews for this game. Not surprising.
EA expected the low scores. I'm sure no one is surprised since review codes weren't sent to reviewers. It was a clear attempt to delay the negative press the game would receive prior to launch.
Where are all the reviews for this game?! Seriously, the game was released yesterday? We've had reviews for Forza Horizon for a week now.
The minute he bent to criticism and tried to justify his review, he invalidated his own review.
