I only buy movies so I can see them on my shelf. Any movie I'm not sure I want, i rent or downl...."find another way" to get it.
Even if I use DD to get movies eventually, I will still buy movies I like on physical media, so I can see them on my shelf.

The best rhythm and music game is basically just a contest between rock band and guitar hero. That category really isn't populated enough by high-budget games to have its own category. yet.

Windows is best for games and compatability.
Linux is best for getting work done(mainly computer-related) and learning about computers and programming, as well as stability(if you know what you are doing at all)
OS X is good for stability and user friendliness.
Of course there will be a learning curve, as there is with EVERYTHING, even new keyboards.

Even though I kinda tend to agree with forcing players to play as other characters being a bad thing, thats is only a small part of the overall formula - a part that maybe should be disposed of.
Sonic Adventure's story didn't take place over a myriad of unexplained levels, but rather in different parts of an explorable city(while still keeping a level-based design). THAT is the main part of the game that needs to be copied. That, and it's simplicity. Jump, Hit, Jump, Hit, SPIII...

Same here, but I went to a used video game store(cgx) and they sell them for about 30$. They've got tons of 'em too, where I live anyways. I bought two and gave one to a friend :)
My statement stands.
If they were to put sonic back onto a SEGA console(DC2), they would probably revert back to the Sonic Adventure formula that was so successful on the original DC. Then I'm sure they would continue to take extra time since it would be first party and VERY important. It would mean more than 'just another sonic game.'
Any sonic I've played on a SEGA console has been a really fun and top notch experience for me.
That can't be said for A SINGLE SONIC GAME on a console other than a SEGA. For me, anyways.

The Dreamcast came out when I was only 8 years old, and was my very first 3D gaming console(got it day one XD). I can contribute my current 'hard-core' gamer status almost solely to the Dreamcast.

Wow, this is getting ridiculous. I'm using an Athlon 4600+ dual core and it handles everything just fine. It's pretty darn old(relative to the tech market),it was only midrange at the time it was new, and it maxes out well after my radeon HD 2600 Pro when gaming(much newer midrange card).
I can only imagine what a modern Intel quad core would be like, let alone having 8 cores. This is unneeded right now, even for games.
I guess it can only be good in the long ru...
