Japan is insignificant compared to the U.S., and even more so when Europe is figured in.
The entire Japanese current generation market is around 17 million. In the U.S. it's 80+ million, and it's over 60 million in EMEAA.

Funny how NONE of the PS3 games you listed have anything to do with Move, yet you ignore 360's best hardcore games and bring up just one Kinect game.
How do you arrive at the conclusion that MS will have to lie to sell Kinect? It's still 3 months away from release, and there are already huge numbers of pre-sales. The marketing campaign hasn't even started yet, and lots of people have already decided to buy it.

MS, Sony, & Nintendo will sell around 50 million combined new consoles this year. Those buyers will be seeing the current generation Madden for the first time.

Price should not be a consideration. A game should be judged based on it's gameplay, sound, & graphics as they relate to the capabilities of the console they are designed for.
