How many 360 owners were going to buy a PS3 just because of this game? Not many. People who were going to buy a PS3 and play XIII on it, were going to buy or will buy a PS3 anyway. They've just been waiting for some of their favorites to come out, or get closer to completion.

Plus, when it's said and done, SONY may have more sales than MS at the same time MS did last year; meaning the PS3 would be on it's way to selling more overall than MS. Neither will likely catch the Wii; it is just so inexpensive, that people rather buy it and play anything on it, than spend more money on a more expensive console.
FFXIII Versus has nothing to do with XIII; it's just the same world. they promoted from within to have Barlog work on GOWII; he was part of the original GOW. Jaffe has some limited oversight, but i'm sure the Santa Monica team knows what they're doing. SONY won't let this fall to the waste side. Look how well Chains of Olympus turned out, and it wasn't even the Santa Monica team.
but i will respectfully disagree. MS "won" because they showed a whole bunch of multi-platform games????? Most of the games shown are coming on the PS3 also; Gears looked good, but Fable's presentation was underwhelming, and then Banjo? Most 360 owners on this site and others were/are hating on the avatars and the new dashboard. It's very basic and unappealing.

considering this is just the elite (not including the other 360 consoles) plus any other losses suffered; plus money to secure timed exclusives, and other content ($50m to Rockstar, etc.), i'm sure MS is up there.
