It goes both ways here I think. But, the PS3 fanboys seem to be doing the most name calling.
There is some bashing going on but the PS3 is last after doing a hell of a lot of boasting. Seems like the boasting is still going on.
All bark and no bite.(For the time being.)
I own both consoles.
XBOX Live is better by far.(For the time being)
XBOX games are better by far. (For the time being)
Blue Ray rocks. (Infinite) <...
Could someone please post links to all the websites beside gamedaily that wrote that the PS3 version is superior in all aspects?
We are talking progress correct?
Nobody is talking about the 360 winning or dominating right?
In that case, isn't this progress?

No, not everyone over HERE wants a PS3. Sales show it. This market has gone handheld. The DS and Wii will rule all.
Problem for Sony in Japan is that at the moment, the PS3 has less games here in Japan than whats on store shelves in the US. Even the 360 has a larger library. But the Wii has a TON of software that appeals to Japanese gamers over here already.
I would think that Microsoft would be satisfied by only losing by a 2:1 ratio to the PS3 in Japan when it is all said and done.
It wont settle well with Sony on the other hand.
Agree. 2008 will decide all. Sony needs to learn how to advertise to the US audience and the same goes for Microsoft in Japan. Sony's ads are great here in Japan. Short, sweet and simple. They show gameplay, the name of the game and the PS3 logo. Done. MS's ads leave you with the feeling of utter confusion or a stiffy(not at the gameplay, but the girls who seem to be the main attraction). But, they do make some great ad campaigns for the states and europe.
Amazing that developers are still working on a platform that you say is going to be "dead soon". They must be nuts. When will it die? Perhaps you need to go in there and straighten them out. Go on gipper!
Finally someone said it. Sometimes the Sony fanboys remind me of the Orcs in LOTR, yelling and screaming from the bottom of Helms Deep.
Then those two games should do well in the states, since they mostly involve blowing stuff up.
Brilliant post.
Posts like these from fanboys should be showcased in a new "This is your brain on drugs" commercial.
Stores here in Japan haven't held HD-DVD at all from what I can tell. I have never seen one. Only Blue Ray. And they are usually in the PS3 section.
This is very bad news for the PS3 in Japan. Not even Final Fantasy 13 will put it in first now. The Wii is the winner.
Looking better than before. We will see.
I love how people are talking about how some companies are beating the dead horse out of a franchise. Arent Halo and Unreal both on their third?
You know Halo 3, Unreal Tournament 3?
By the way, I have Halo3 and will be getting UT3. Cant wait.
Worst post ever.
It does not say 2/10 anywhere. This is a preview from 2006.
Plus, it's from Famitsu magazine which last week gave Halo 3 a 10, 9, 9 and a 9.
Before you post stuff like this and look like an idiot, remember there are people on here who speak and read another foreign language.
You might be able to get away with posting something in Swahili though.
The colors look way too bright and cartoony? It looks like a kids game?
I guess nobody is getting Ratchet and Clank then.
Or maybe I'm just a kid. Cause I'm getting both.
You want a reasonable response?
Many Japanese are still sensitive to the word "Jap" because it was used as a not so polite comment toward Japanese during WW2.
I am an American and both of my kids have been born and raised in Japan to a Japanese mother. We have a hard enough time shielding them from naive and ignorant comments over here in Japan that I would hope my fellow Westerners would make an example of themselves and show how much more "cultur...
Please don't be ignorant and continue calling people "Japs".
Thats what I was trying to say. It will not hurt early adopters of the 360 because they can always buy the region free version of the games. The publishers know this and at the rate the 360 is selling in Japan, this strategy would make sense.
It really hurts MS in the long run when gamers who are interested in the 360 see the lack of titles on store shelves when thinking about a purchase. Even if there are games like Lost Odyssey and Infinite Undiscovery, they just won't go for...
Ninja Gaiden Sigma cant be done on the 360??????? Oh my god.
