People forget that 2GB is like gaming on a pc with 4GB's. Don't forget a PC also needs to continually run things like explorer, virus protection, ect.. A gaming console only runs one task at a time, hence why the cell processor works well in a PS3.

I don't care if it's coming out for everything. As long as it has a release in sight.. So I can actually play the game, that is the only thing I really care about.

To be honest.. I'd like for SE to stop jumping all over the console market. They make games just for the 360, then just for the PS3, then just for the Wii, the NDS, the PSP. They are jumping all over the place, no wounder they are have difficulties this generation, a SE fan has a hard time playing all t...

really though there are plenty of ways around the storage issue like we have seen in FF7, FF8, and FF9 (lot's of cgi have always made a big portion of FF games, making a open world actually could fit on any platform).

Just saying. SE didn't include the open world in 13 because they didn't want to, not because they couldn't from storage issue's.

Other then that common myth, I agree that FF should include airships and full exploration once a...

1. Dark Souls is not a game to be bought for the best graphics, it's about game play

2. There are so many games out on pc that really need a controller, ever try to play Dead space or Batman on a pc without a controller? You can also use either a 360 or PS3 controller, nothing is more flexible with how you game then a pc.

3. Most importantly, we are finally getting games like Dark Souls on a pc. It will be a very nice fit and I look forward to more releas...

I still have 4gb of ram on my pc. I've been wanting to have a reason to make the jump to 8gb, but I haven't found a reason to upgrade yet as the 4GB keeps my pc processes maxed out.

I think the present is still geared towards 4GB of ram with a lot of people waiting for the future with the 8GB's. (excluding professionals like computer programmers of video editors of course).

The question remains as to when games will really take advantage of 8GB&#...

Does Mario and Halo and Uncharted NEED to be on PC?

Why do you think emulators exist?

IMO, It's better to have all eggs in one basket, as opposed to needing a PS4, 720, Wii U, NDS, Vita, untitled Valve console, PC, and I pad to play all the games going into the next generation. (jrpg's are the perfect genre to show frustration with this since they are spread all over the place)

Raiders fans don't know any better.

There is a reason the next generation is coming soon.

I don't think anyone really has any idea what Sony is planning to do exactly with this service.

4377d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Theoretically, Sony could allow for PS3 games to be streamed on other devices such as p.c.'s, or even machines much more inexpensive to produce then a actual PS3.

It will be interesting to see where Sony is going with this as it changes the "PS4" field quiet a bit.

If you like Angry birds. Because that is about the only game you will have on a Apple console. And let's face it Angry birds isn't really a game, it is more a casual time killer in between waiting for face book replies for casual people.

Gaming and Apple just don't mix. MS already beats them hands down in that department as far as computers go (do you know very many gamers that have mac rigs?) and MS also has a head start in the console market as well.

I just wish they would make some good jrpg's that aren't portable games.. Where did all the good PS3 jrpg's go? All the PS2 era games went straight to portable devices, I much rather play them on a bigger screen.

I don't have a wii either, the motion controls just don't seem right for more hardcore games or good jrpg's.

I may be the only one on here to say this. But Im excited for a sequel to FF12..

It's a much better way / style for square to tap into the action wrpg feel that they want to tap into. FF12 was action orientated and had the big open world to explore. but it also contained a very strategic battle system to make the game play and leveling system feel deep (something wrpg's lack).

I know FF12 has gotten its share of hate, but I think it is one of the bes...

Sony's obsession with FPS's and MS attempt to take over the jrpg market (and killing it by the way) have been the most annoying aspect of the current generation.... I'll be sure to wait a while before picking up my next console and see what everyone is doing first.

I think the point people are trying to make is that fps's and there 4-6 hours of actual single player content are getting played out and tired. You can also say the games are relatively easy to make since the gameplay rely's on human opponents.

Now, people are moving on to wrpg's.. The advantages; more ai, more scripting, more story, more game play that is actually programmed into the game itself.

As for games like Uncharted, those games are alway...

Paid DLC is turning into a cr@pfest. Whatever happen to true expansion packs that are made to make games better. Now developers want people to pay out for very little extra work on their end.

Note, this isn't true for every paid dlc, but it is starting to trend.

Rockstar peaked somewhere between GTA3 & San Andreas. RDR is about as close as we got to Rockstar's golden years this generation..... So far at least.

it's just two clicks.. It's not like it's costing you anything except one additional point and click. Who cares if face book has to pay out a few extra pennies, it's not like the extra click will make them go bankrupt and you will no longer be able to connect with your friends online.

Well wrpg's and jrpg's are almost different genre's really.

As for wrpg's the open world and full exploration is really nice. For example, riding around in Skyrim and just exploring is really fun at first. But, when it comes down to playing a game through it's entirety eventually the wrpg such as skyim will tire it's self out more then a jrpg, mostly because jrpg's tend to open up a little more or the new addition's tend to be more rewarding. i...

Try playing RE Operation raccoon city then making a comment calling for more action. Thankfully that game bombed hard.

RE is a survival horror game, that doesn't mean it needs to revert to a 1990's control scheme, it means it has to have that scare factor. We all know the 360 takes advantage of 360 movement, that is where the generation is at and that is what a horror game will look like now.

Personally, I am beyond tired of eastern publishers stereo ...
