You're talking about percentage scores. If you're scoring out of 10 you're not really allowed to use decimal points. I know some do use decimals with 0-10 scores, that's actually a percentage.
I hate percentages, by the way. How on earth do you declare the difference between an 81% and an 84%?
I think 10s can be given out. Of course there will never be a perfect game. A 10 isn't a perfect score. It's just the highest score. for me, COD4 deserves a 10, as does MGS4. I would also consider giving one to Portal. It's a mark of unbelievable quality. The game has to be incredibly impressive, far better than its peers, and above all, ridiculously fun. If you play the game and simply don't care about any problems it might have because it is too wonderful, it might well be a 10 in my book. ...
Well I never liked Gears so I have no problem declaring that this guy is a massive knob.
Getting a good SCART cable makes a huge difference to SD as well.

Of course they'll mention the camera. However, my focus is not on what they've said about the camera. It's about what they've said about everything else. Almost all of the comments say something along the lines of "if it wasn't in 3rd person then it would be just another futuristic FPS". And they're right. There's not much special about Gears. It's just another shooter.
What I like is that the comments in the article all highlight that the only special thing about gears is the 3rd person view. It's just a short step from there to admitting that it's a distinctly average game behind the veil of its shiny grey graphics.
Aw yeah man that game was so stupid. You never even saw the main character's face, or even his hands when he picks up stuff. It's like he's got some kind of stupid magic power. And the enemies are all the same and stuff.

FIFA 09 is the first FIFA game I've played that I loved. It took a while for me to get used to the play style but I would be very happy to play it for a year if Pro Evo 09 was out of the equation.

Anyone who plumps for the Arcade inevitably will spend more once they realise they don't have wifi, they can't download any demos and they can't play online, and that certain games require hard drives to play online.
This is a load of balls. 360s cost more once you factor in hard drive, wifi and live.
