Is the glass half empty, or half full? Niether, it's simply twice as big as it needs to be.

That is correct, especially for those who like to earn as many trophies as they possibly can. They have to choose, well MAG DLC for ten bucks and I get 3 more trophies to earn, or one of the PSN games you've mentioned, which I'm sure would offer up more trophies. Though there are certain games I make a point to earn each trophy, I find myself buying DLC more so because I want to have a complete collection of a certain game.

My wallet doesn't necessarily appreciate...

Please no, I do not want a repetitive game every year. I don't mind waiting 2 or 3 years for a proper sequel. Quality over quantity.

I agree with everything you've said, especially the part about granting leadership being contingent upon having a mic. My PSN is the same as well, I'm always looking for people to group up with who are willing to work as a team. However, Killzone 3 YLOD'd my 60gb launch console the other day and it'll be few weeks before I'm back in action. Add me, I'll accept when I'm back up and running. I agree with the price point as well, I think the DLC suffered because most ...

Point of principle, I win a lot of games because I'm good, if my KDR is high, you can infer that I must frequently win games. Often the biggest reason people will say the online portion of a game is bad, is because they are not good, and they will pick and prod at the smallest things that are set up in a certain way that they simply aren't compatible with, or not good at. As far as the site goes, I never understood Sarcastic Gamer, are they really just a site that posts sarcastic mate...

Broken? How is it broken? I'm proficient with all classes. My KDR is currently exactly 2.50. Maybe this guy is just very bad, and like most who are bad at a game, blame it on the game. As far as patches are concerned, they've already been announced. The game as it sits however, doesn't even need any patches or adjustments, though they are always welcome. How do these stories get approved? This needs to be an opinion piece.

I agree with the DLC, I'm not sure if people don't like them or if people just haven't bought them. I'm guessing the latter. Perhaps they could make them free in the future, or bundle them together for like 5 bucks. Encourage people to download them and perhaps more will jump on. As far as the core game modes are concerned though, no problems what so ever. Which is fine by me. I usually play Sabotage, Suppression, and Domination.

I seriously lol'd right off my couch. For real though, I played Pokemon up to Gold and Silver and just couldn't keep up with it after that. I did catch 'em all in Yellow, with Gamesharks' help of course.

"Don’t believe me about how crazy this shit gets? What if I told you that my dumb ass picked playing Pokemon Blue with my buddies over “hanging out” with a girl in her hotel room, alone, during an 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C.? MY BLASTOISE NEEDED VENGEANCE."

You sir, are I better gamer than me, your devotion to your love for gaming is impeccable and admirable, because I would have totally said screw Pokemon and went to that hotel room. Maybe that's why I n...

You also have to consider that the market for exclusives on the PS3 is far greater than it was when KZ2 released. Besides, KZ2 launched worldwide simultaneously. KZ3 launched in the US on Tues. and in Euro on Fri. SO we are still missing a few days of sales. Also, never depend on anything but the official sales figures as otherwise amounts are always wrong.

Have you played MAG? If so, and you're like me, you've enjoyed it the past year and couple months. The servers are still far from empty, and will most likely be quite lively for at least another year, which to me, is an exceptionally long run for a multiplayer shooter, especially given its need for a large number of players for their large games. On average with most shooters, 6 to 8 months is the max a title will see before players move on to another game and average players online b...

On another note, they just launched a pretty big update on February 23rd. So no, MAG again, is far from dead. http://blog.mag.com/blog/20...

Funny, I play almost everyday with no problems waiting for matches or full games. I play with a very large and involved clan as well. So I'm not certain how MAG is "dead". Even, if so, we got Socom coming up, and I'm certain perhaps next year, Zipper will follow up with a sequel to MAG. It was to big of a hit for them not to. I'd like to see smaller matches available in the future. 32 v 32 perhaps. Better vehicles. There are so many ways Zipper can make MAG 2 even better...
