I feel like the logic behind this article is backwards and flawed, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the point of enjoying an art form, in this case the medium being that of video gaming to well, enjoy it? Regardless of the subject matter, whether it be drugs in GTA or violence in Deadspace 2, surely we as adults, are mature enough to handle it. Sure, for the kids, yeah, but you need to be complaining to the parents who buy their sons "M" rated games.

First franchise I've played online was Socom on PS2. Never played Halo online till 3, though I did have Halo 1 and 2 LAN parties all the time.

I agree, Lair was fun when you got good at it. Most people, I feel just didn't want to put the time into the new 6 axis controller.
Aren't all the games on that list like 3+ years old? How about over hyped 360 exclusives that came out bad we wish never existed. I'll start with a few... Alan Wake, and that's a recent title, Perfect Dark Zero, Halo 3 ODST, and as already stated, Too Human.
This guy picked the most similar looking screen of the two versions. This is the only screen that has yet been released where both consoles very closely resemble each other. There are differences if you look closely, but in screen shots where there is more light and more environment and much more going on there is a vast difference.
Seems to me like they are just trying to save more people from experiencing the disappointment and canceling their pre orders. I've already decided not to buy it day one anymore and to wait and see how the finished product actually is before I buy.

Wow, nice! I already donated a little as well. The Demons Souls Wiki community I frequent put together something as well that I took part in. It's nice to see the gaming community coming together to help out those that made gaming as we know it possible.
Personally, I think that since the 360 and pc were originally the only platforms to get the demo, and every ps3 gamer complained about how unfair they thought it was, Crytek rushed a crappy port of the demo over to the ps3 to shut us up. I say port because I don't believe they took the demo from part of the ps3 versions finished game. I think they ported over the pc version of the demo. However, my plan was to buy day one, but now I think I'll rent from gamefly first just to make sure...

I don't think it's a problem if it's a new console. If it's used however, it's like an unofficial new SKU and it's like they are trying to get people to buy their overpriced used console instead of Sonys official new console. It's weird, I'm not fully sure what to think about it, but it doesn't feel right. Seems shady.
Did they just swap out the HDD and add a vinyl skin? Is it a new or refurbished console? If it's new I don't see a problem with it. If it's refurbished then I think that's kinda screwed up and I would not advise anyone to buy it. It almost looks as if Gamestop is taking Sonys console and selling it as their own.

The biggest feature I think it needs is the ability to slap your old HDD into another PS3 so you can recover your data after an unrecoverable YLOD. I was just hit pretty hard with this one. Lost all my data and no way to get it off that HDD. With the 360 you can slap it in any Xbox. I had to start Demons Souls all over again. The agony! There's no money to be made in older games. You can't buy them from the developers any more. Nintendo isn't going to lose out on any potential sales on those games. Therefore, it's not an issue to them. It would cost them so much more as a company to prevent piracy that it simply wouldn't be beneficial to them.
