After the whole debacle, though, I really hope the used game market will come up with some idea to compensate the developers. Maybe they can charge a little more and that will include loyalty that will go back to the developer. I don't know.
They can complain to MS or big name publishers all they want, but at the end of the day, unless they come up with a solution themselves, publishers will want to limit the access to them one way or the other.

What the industry need to do is to come up with an alternative service that is more attractive than used game purchase instead of trying to limit the options for customers. I think Steam is doing just that, and PS+ is a great step forward.

I can only speak for myself, but I've never criticized MS for their paid multiplayer. I thought of free multiplayer for PS3 as a plus, but I didn't think MS' policy was bad considering you would get better online services.

You only need one account in your console to have the network service and it will be good for the rest of the accounts you have.
I highly doubt it. I think they said not all the online functions are tied to PS+. I think you can still browse web, access NetFlix, etc etc, so I think that's part of free functions.

I really hope they will re-write the script in English like Suda51 does with his games instead of trying religiously to translate Japanese into English. The gripes I have with MGS series in English is that the dialogue feels really forced and rigid mainly because they are trying so hard to translate word by word.

I'm excited to see GT competition coming out on PS4. I sometimes feel GT series is getting stagnant, and I hope DriveClub will be great enough to wake them up.
I don't think it necessarily needs to be about the looks. Like newmonday said above, it can be about things that aren't easily visible in screenshot.
And I think if they can utilize the rest of the resource for things that matter to the gameplay and not the graphics, ultimately it will be better for the game.
