The Avengers aren't the lynch pin to the entire Marvel universe. These characters stood on their own without them.

Ever see the 90s Spider-man cartoon? It's all Spidey, Venom, and Carnage with all of the classic Spidey villains peppered in their for good measure. The X-men show up for a 2parter, and Iron Man shows up for a 2 parter. That's it.

CEOs of multi-billion dollars companies aren't your friends.

Don't develop parasocial relationships with people that only care about that $70 hanging out of your pocket.

Whatever happened to just dunking on cringe CEOs?

@nitrowolf2

Again. I wasn't debating the fact that the game came bundled with the MSX/NES versions, but rather that that isn't unheard of with the MGS rereleases. I was debating your assertion that there was some rule that they had to be sold separately (still not sure what your point was).

No, no one except you really cares that it's not in 4K. These games are several decades old and have already been rereleased several times across multiple ...

What other consoles did Insomniac develop for prior to the acquisition?

Playstation Studios has only been around for about 3 years.

Do they mean fastest selling 1st party Sony game? Do they mean specifically under the SCEA brand?

Making it PC vs consoles? Hack take.

Let's see. Mark Hamill, John-Rhys Davies, Gary Oldman, Sam Rockwell, Liam Cunningham, Kate Beckinsale.

Don't tell me they spent all this time and money making sure they had famous actors in their game where no one cares about faces.

I mean, the issue really isn't that the games were meant to be sold alone. That was never a restriction Kojima nor Konami ever imposed on rereleases. The MGS HD collection is a fine example. MGS3 Subsistence is another great example.

Also, the NES versions of MG and MG2 aren't bonus content at all. Heck, they barely resemble the MSX versions. They might as well be different games entirely.

All in all, it's a rerelease bundle that no one asked...

Never even heard of this game. Hard to beat the most famous game of all history if no one even knows your game is in development. I'm all over N4G, Steam, Epic, and the console stores. No one is really covering this game.

Wow. I don't know why, but you got straight up bridgaded over your very reasonable observation.

In my opinion, given that everything is migrating over to just being a PC, Xbox games are all on PC now, Gamepass is on PC, 95% of sony exclusives are now on PC....... do we even need consoles anymore? It's no secret that Sony and MS lose money historically on every console they sell, so why not just rip the bandaid off and everyone can be a PC gamer?

Square Enix sycophants will downvote you, but you're not wrong. FF7R was a step backwards for the series.

People were ready to believe that somehow Starfield wouldn't be a Creation Engine reskin, even though Todd told us all that's exactly what it was going to be.

You know Skyrim? Remember how awesome Skyrim is? It's the same structure of game, the only difference was, in 2011 the Creation Engine still had some surprises left.

The only thing that can improve CE reskin games is the quality of writing and the quality of acting. Everything else is pu...

They knew full well the ramifications of their pricing policy. They knew it would be received negatively. How could it not? Install fees? That's ludicrous and unprecedented in the gaming industry. They were just hoping the backlash would be minimal compared to the adoption rate. Dumbasses. People these days are more willing than ever to explore FOSS options.

No. Not at all. The endgame is making money. Sony has a better perspective on what gamers prefer, and they generally don't push their luck. Sony has a streaming service akin to gamepass, Sony just prefers to stack their environment with in house and 2nd party developer titles rather than just acquire companies.

Every single choice MS has made for their hardware over the last 2 generations they've had to apologize for or backpedal on their plans.
