The difference being Sony has a large group of other studios that have done something positive. Microsoft just closed the studio to the only good game they released in the past year (Hi-Fi Rush).
100% agree.
Why hellblade 2 is fine being 9 hours….because Xbox hasn’t had a good game in 10220.011 hours (equivalent of 14 months). :(
Darth.... "The initial comment is under the impression that simply having a 32x attached it made the non 32x games better when that is absolutely not the case. And why I said to use the Supergrafx as a better example because that one DID enhance even non supergrafx games."
No the initial comment (by me) was stating that hardware add-ons have been a thing for some time and the key words are "in other ways". I didn't specifically say it was the same me...
exactly
Hoopla about nothing. Consumer choice doesn't hurt anyone. Even if games aren't specifically built for the Pro - they still show advancements in frame rate etc. This has been going on for some time in other ways - e.g. Nintendo 64 Expansion Pak, Sega 32X.
Yes taking almost half of 2024 for your first title while the other guy has been dropping games monthly. Total redemption.
And we still haven’t moved on from gears, halo, forza.
He said "Last of Us Part 2 remastered" 🤣🤣🤣 isn't this like the millionth remake?
What’s it like to have a library of games that can’t even warrant re-releases?
Having their best year yet but nothing is even out…pal world. Lol.
Meanwhile Sony is supposed to be in their worst year but here we are with Last of Us 2 Remastered, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Helldivers 2 and Pacific Drive all before Xbox gets anything in 2024 with Rise of the Ronin in a few weeks. All the while Xbox games are now dropping on PS5 right now…if anyone needed justification to buy a PS5 over an Xbox…2024 continues the theme.
Mega mega year f...
I need to see more combat. My concern is a generic approach that removes opportunities for a great cover system like uncharted. Will this game transition to third person for cover during combat or is it legit run and gun? Indiana Jones wasn’t a run and gunner and spent ample time laying behind walls and panicking before finishing the job.
I can’t imagine they wouldn’t have shown a cover system in the reveal trailer if it existed.
so legit
Metroid prime makes more sense though given the visor and tech (scanning). This is a more generic approach.
Metroid Prime really pioneered the 1st to 3rd transitions. I think it has potential but we will have to see. It should be entertaining, but it’s certainly not a system seller.
"True just like Starfield, Hellblade 2 and now Indiana Jones."
Starfield is a confirmed love/hate game. Hellblade 2 has to improve on the first one which is a love/hate game. Indiana Jones... Promising but I think people have the right to be disappointed it is a FPS and will feel less cinematic in nature than Uncharted.
I bet foamstars scores higher than this lol
Ripping off uncharted is the smarter formula for this type of game.
A majority of their subs are on the Xbox console. I find it funny the spin, thinking that there are an astronomical amount of subscribers on PC's and Smart TV apps.
Since when is paying Ubisoft a perk? Their catalog is Meh at best.
Can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not, anything is possible here….but imagine playing a game a year and a half before PC and being upset about it.
