I wish they would stop delaying it. Not many games delayed this long turn out to be good. I know I'll regret it, but I'm keeping the faith. AVP2010 was VERY mediocre.

Did you actually play it? Unless you put it on very easy and didn't do any side missions, it would be hard to beat it in six hours. The only part id really needs to flesh out are ENDINGS. ***SPOILER*** with no real final boss and a 15 second FMV clip at the end, the game left much to be desired.

He needs to slap the director Amundsen(sp?) for not going back and giving DLC on that title to the fans. I had an awesome time playing it, even got the ultimate edition, but felt like it should've given us more in the way of additional content via download. Extra rooms, skins, that ending that never got released that they keep talking about.
Honestly I felt like Ghost of Sparta told a better story, but the over the top gameplay and graphics of GOW III win out.

Not sure why IGN gave this game a score below an 8.0, but if you are an AC fan, then you need to play this game. I turned it on sunday morning and played for 9 hours straight on Hard diffiuculty. Great shooting fun, but I wonder why it got so many "OMFG" at E3 last year.... substance wasn't there for a shooter you would go back again, and again and play. Story was meh, ending was terrible. But man, did i have fun gibbing people with the shotgun loaded with pop rocket ammo.

DMC3 special edition is by FAR the best. the original was THE reason I bought a PS2 and was my first game for it. but the vergil back story is a winner for sure. They went in the wrong direction with DMC4...should've tracked vergil down. So much more story to be developed.... Oh wait... I'm talking about capcom here. Silly me.
Beware, this game will kick your @$$. You have about 5 minutes in the beginning where you feel like you are invincible... the rest is just pain.
not sure if they have best buy in canada, but I pre-ordered mine last week from Best Buy here in the "states". Be careful, they charge you up front.... not when the game comes.
