Nuance is not apart of their thought process. They're justifying a preconception. I'm not even a big fan of TLOU2, my gripe is about the level design more than anything. But from jump they tried to make it about some trans thing, then it turned out Abby wasn't trans so they started going off about Joel, now it's just about how the game didn't connect on the same level as the last game or some other amorphous bullshit mixed with trolling.

Yeah with the state of MP on PC I'd rather just leave them where they are and just allow the consoles to play with each other. Cheating on PC is just way too easy.

I'm under the impression that the budgets for these games are pushing up against the value they add to their platforms. If a game like Horizon can double it's sales by going to PC (no idea if that's going to be true, just thinking) then I'm thinking the case by case approach is more practical than fan serving. If the potential sales on other platforms outweighs the games value to it's exclusive platform then the idea of exclusive content and time exclusivity only makes sen...

Because it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see MS didn't have enough IP to prop up their streaming service. MS didn't need a bunch of gamers telling them they didn't have games. They're trying to build a streaming platform and as Netflix found out you need a bunch of your own content to supplement the 3rd party stuff or the IP holders fk you over.
You should, there are millions of people waiting on PS5 who would probably enjoy the system more. Get the series X it looks like a great system.

Kratos has changed, Dante has changed, Master Chiefs armor has changed, Solid Snake changed, Link changes every time. Character models change when graphics improve or artists have more time with their characters or whatever, thats creative freedom. This is the kind of things that gets people talking outta both sides of their mouth. Makes me think y'all want artist to have the creative freedom to do whatever you want them to do...

It does, and no offense to the old actor but the new face does look a little more natural in game. It threw me for a loop at first and the lip sync was off for me, but it's probably for the best.
They're CODing it and I think you have a right to be irked by that. They should offer a clear upgrade path for folks who just want to start with the remaster. But I can't get my self to care anymore knowing I won't be able to get a system at launch and by the time I do MM Ultimate Edition will probably be on discount.

A billion dollars? I doubt that. And as I've read they get time and a half during the week and double on weekends. Better than most Americans. If a bunch of freelancers are getting burned then yeah that shouldn't happen, but I'm not gonna be preemptively mad at a company for what they might do. If everyone is fairly compensated, have at it.
Yeah they need to clarify the boost mode a bit but the messaging is starting to come together. If PS5 can automatically "boost" PS4 games we're money, everything else is a bonus and we can pay for some of that stuff np. Like Morgan was saying to me a week back, these games take time and money to actually upgrade (character models, textures, etc) and if PS5 has an auto boost for resolution/frame rate, these remasters are going to be luxuries we can pay for.
