The inevitable documentary about this game is going to be bonkers. I predict mass idiocy and Ancient Greek levels of hubris.
The problem with that is that there are third party AI systems they could implement. Instead it seems they're trying to build everything from the ground up with a quarter of the staff that work on games like RDR or AC.
And he'll take your games catalog with him...
I thought I read Sony was closing Japan Studio.
Any other funny prediction you got. I love saving money!
That's why they're going Gamepass, they gotta get in where they fit in. And if they can't sell games or consoles, maybe they can sell a service?
I gave up and bought a PC and oh it is glorious 🤩
Real fkn good. That movement looks smooooth
If you can compete why not? Push yourself and see how far you can get. Shoot your shot 👍
You coulda said the same thing when Cory Barlog took over God of War. You gotta give people a chance. She's been in some pretty bad situations, let's see what her team can do with some actual support.
Sony better be banging down Shannons door to get her back, she's a fkn stud. Boss bich vibes all day long.
They specifically denied refunds with the reasoning that the game would be fixed over time. The game was never fixed.
But yeah, stop buying new games, it's just a hustle.
Why would anyone buy anything from EA ever again? If it doesn't come from Respawn it's probably undercooked trash.
Old gen controllers had drift problems too. There was hope that the new generation of hardware would squash that but it seems the issue hasn't cost them enough in repulation or money quite yet.
I've had 5 PS4 controller and only the newest one doesn't have drift. It's part of the reason I want to switch to playing mostly on PC.
Jim Ryan just said in GQ that more PS exclusives are moving to PC. I fully expect Sony to launch all their games on PC at this point. I just wish they were more open about it. I've been trying to get a PS5 for months when I should have just built a PC when GPUs were still available.
I just want them to commit to it so I know I can skip PS5 and just build a PC when GPUs become available again. I'm just tired of the smoke and mirrors stuff. If I know I can wait a year or two to get the game cheaper and running better on PC I'd rather do that.
Some people buy one or the other.
Truth is I'm ignorant af about all this. I've just seen a few GDC talks about tech like this and how developers are scared to use new tech in games that are so expensive and complex. They'd rather contract out work than use new tools that aren't proven. It makes sense but it's also a choice that balloons their budgets. Now they want us to pay for it. Is what it is, I can't even find a PS5 so I'm in no position to complain about pricing at this point 🤷♂️
And zero performance hit. Insomniac is going to be the Naughty Dog of the PS5 era.
