Tekken and doa are not realistic games .. in both games you have a dose of supernatural elements , heck aside from tengu/nyotengu , DOA is more grounded in reality than tekken that have demons, robots , and all sorts of animals.

I'm sick of hearing him talk about a franchise he is not involved anymore and thathe vastly contributed to become stale because he freaking had no idea of to balance a game , or how fighting games work. He left DOA with a bunch of problem both in scenario and gameplay mecanics that the new team solved in DOA dimensions and DOA5.

This isn't the first AAA game delayed, and it won't be the last.
Glad that the practise of delaying your game to polish it or if you need more time is becoming the trend.
There was enough games last year holidays that just weren't ready...on all consoles !!
Actually it's more doable than hide , because at 0% you haven't any link to the rest of your database. So it should be easier to remove.
The problem when you need to delete a trophy list is that the calcul of your level and the trophy count changes. And that information is stored at multiples places.( both on your console and on sony servers ) Deleting those would open the door for inconsistencies in that system.
At 0% this problem goes away ( because...
not vaporware, they are just trying to earn the "most delayed" trophy/achievement.

There is just not enough content to make player come back when you can buy your way toward more/better upgrades and the fact that victory relies so much on teamwork that just isn't there unless you play with people that trully are on your same skill level.
