Lol i purchased a wheel , and GT5 actually helped me when i was learning how to drive..i never regretted my purchase ever.
Playing with a gamepad and playing with a wheel is totally different , when you play GT5 or GT6 with a G27 ( for example ) you're actually practising your skill with the assists off.
Sure we can do better , that's how we improve our engines but right now , that's how every simulator is !

This is it .. They have to rewrite their entire lightning engine and physic engine. And until this is done , night racing and weather conditions won't be in forza.
Adding weather effects is not that hard if you're starting fro scrath and you're talented .
Turn10 didn't have the time to add them , didn't have the hardware to ease their devellopement and more important , they DIDNT build a next-gen engine.

The recoil on the Cod weapons has never been fixed it is highly unrealistic.
The physic engine is very poor and doesn't allow the right effects on the weapons ( the escuse is that iit would break the cod gameplay you guy all love )..it's only now that they are adding effects on their engine , these effects that other titlles like battle field , killzone have si...

i fail to see what you saw that was so awesome.
we had barely any gameplay.
What we had was :
-devellopper talking
-cutscenes bit we already saw at E3
-3 second of gameplay ???
and out of those 3 sec of gameplay we barely have any information on how it plays except that it's YET AGAIN a TPS.
What was really awesome in that reaveal is how people eat anything without checking what's in front of them.
COD is a series of games that went nowhere since MW1
-no feedback on the weapons ( sound design or physic effects )
-boring "follow the cursor" level design
-story doesn't make sense ( it doesn't )
-rehashing of old maps in MP
-hacked to death and no intention to implement somthing to prevent that (They all were, the last 2 were hacked BEFORE their official release date)

I've spend more than 85 hours in GTA5 and i'm pretty sure i haven't seen everything yet.( not counting MP ) TLOU is a great game , but for me GTA5 is pretty much what i wanted, what i hoped for so long , it's exceptionnal.

The reason why those becnhmark are legit is that they require just javascript not the mess of coding that microsoft tries to feed webcoders gen after gen.
All of these changes are actually pretty good.
The new direction is actually closely monitoring the worlds and that's really awesome , nice balances and more options for leveling up for newcommers . i welcome this change.
