how many americans were actually aware of the Dell Jukebox's existence?? It certainly didnt have a slick marketing campaign with U2 advertising it I can assure you. The Wii can still sell a bucketload to non-gamers at a $199 price because of Nintendo's intellectual properties, a huge army of cute fluffy mascots vs. Sony's....Spyro? Crash Bandicoot? Ratchet & Clank?? Families will have more interest in Wii technology (especially cheaper technology around kids) while PS3 will battle it out ...
the ps3 shots are ever so slightly sharper but, as the guy points out, not completely noticable unless you're specifically looking for a difference. Of course, the real test is later on in the console cycle...but by then most gamegeeks will have made up their minds and Joe Bloggs will be waiting for the first price drop.
it makes for good business sense. The two other consoles are going to be using motion, if it took off to an extent that developers would be applying it to all their games then the 360 would be excluded from third party games for not adapting. I personally don't think motion would be that big a deal, the WarHawk demonstration made my wrists ache just looking at it, but any company should be thinking of implementing it just in case rather than writing it off from the start.
Bumblebee is now a camaro and Megatron isn't even a tank (i can understand the logistics of not making him a handgun) but an "alien jet". The only thing that'll make me see it is if Frank Welker and Peter Cullen return as the voices of Megatron & Optimus Prime, respectively. However, the latest rumour is that Michael Bay wants to sign up George Clooney as Prime.....yeah, that says it all.
there''s a UK poster in the Xbox forums who has a gamerscore of nearly 12000 points and he claims his 360 is right next to his radiator and has never had a heating problem. I'm not saying all 360's are like this. Also, it must be down to something the user themselves are doing because there are posters on the forums who are on their 4th or 5th 360. It's handy MS doesn't charge for replacements.

1st of all, I only own 4 xbox1 games so this isn't the most thorough test. I tested all of the games to Alice Cooper's 'Brutal Planet' album (a great album to stomp ass with) and got some weird results.
Halo 1: Boots up playing the music but as soon as I press any button the game music takes over. Restarted, tried again with letting it load all the credits, on the title screen it struggled to play the title music and alice cooper at the same time so i instantly booted out. So...
will i be able to use photoshop? will i be able to use a word processor to write scripts? Can it run C++ coding?

I've never picked up Lumines on the PSP but i've heard nothing of praise. I'm just still a wee bit burnt from bankshot billiards. Also, FamoAmo: Thank God! Trench is nothing like Desert!! It's not a huge map to get lost in like Desert. None of the new ones really are. The only problem I've had is a game on gasplant where most of my team got lost in the caverns!! lol Desert matches just descends into aerial supremacy and getting sniped on the plains. If other large maps are like that, I'm just...
anyone else notice they didn't say much on the game mechanics other than it'l be more like RE/Silent Hill than Siren? It sounds like getting a cheap buck out of an RE clone with some fancy CGI. I won't trash the game completely so early, but it just doesn't sound...um, hardcore? lol
It perplexes me why MS are being very quiet over the Arcade when it was all people could talk about after the launch. Very happy that SF2 will be only 400 points but 1200 for Lumines?! hmmm....that and it's apparent that the newsletter ballsed it up if they're planning for an august/september launch.
I'll wait on the large map pack for PDZ...I just can't stand Desert so I fear for those types of maps
a new Dungeon Keeper. That was the first PC game I played for 3 years straight and I still think the design of that game is one of the greatest. Yes, DK2 was buggy and a bit lame but I'd still pop for the 3rd one to be dusted off the shelves and given a re-tinkering for the 360. Anyone agree?
they become no.1 in a video-games market. As long as the Xbox can show an increase in circulation, the board of directors will stay content that they are not funding a complete loss. Out of all the consoles I've had, Microsoft's service has ben impeccable compared to Sony & the Nintendo of Now, the Old Nintendo would even help out suicidal fanboys over the helpline! But as soon as MS are top dogs, they'll be just as arsey as Sony are now...and probably more so.
