and there will be pre-orders so that: a)The consumer can feel happy he has a guarantee of getting his product and b)Gives Gamestop & Sony a rough estimate of how many units will be moved. I find it strange how I could pre-order my 360 5 months before the launch (and what a heap load of mess it was getting it anyway) and it's now certified that most retailers won't be taking pre-orders until september....All I can see is a huge rush for a limited supply of PS3's and now with limited time t...
it's a different type of battery to the one listed. Thanks for that plyer 1 :) I'm still going to ring up the support centre in Europe to make sure I'm not going to wake up to an inferno!
I have about 30 of those role-play books littered around my house :D Huge Games Workshop geek back in the day (sad it's a shell of it's former self).
Anyone else get the feeling that developers are making secret little projects for the wii that they'll launch in a year or two, to capitalise on the wiimote? "to be able to create games that are based on gameplay rather than these intensive graphical productions, is a great opportunity for everybody." lol Feels like the ...
...or at least until M$ think about making HD-DVD games (when Sony finally uses the extra sectors on the Blu-Ray disk) then i don't see this "add-on" necessary until i see a clear winner in the format war. Which, by the looks of consumers, is going to be (old-)DVD. Not until more consumers are schooled in HDTV's, the High-Def Generation won't be taking off anytime soon.
i think portable gaming, i think gameboy, and have been for 20 years. Is there chance for anyone to take over the hand-held market without the need for Nintendo to self-combust? Otherwise, I think Nintendo can quite happily retire from the console wars if it needs to & survive on it's handheld applications.
i have one of those batteries & i don't really look forward to the possibility of it spontaneously catching fire. This is irksome as it means going without my laptop for 2-3 weeks....yay....this endears me to Sony..
Do NOT enter MovieLand or the EntrancePlaza!! You'll watch a cutscene & then the demo will immediately end! The one flaw of this demo is that you're restricted to the one area of the mall, and for the life of me i can't find Brad in this area, which gives me the feeling it's impossible to do the one case they give you in this demo...
...However, the gameplay is tasty. The variety of ways to slaughter or humiliate Zombies is quite astounding & with the ability to upgrade...
I know you've had to wait up on Saints Row & SF2 so you're gonna have one happy weekend I bet :)
my most eagerly anticiapted download from the marketplace. Enough time for lunch & a spliff *MWAHAHAHAHAHA!*
one of the best, if not THE best, Castlevania games of the series. I'd definitely pick up this Belmont Bad-Boy for some gamerscore points :)
but not in the newly released section. Scroll through the list of all games to Dead Rising & access it from there. Happy Zombie Hunting!!!
i'll be picking this up with my co-owned PS3 (I'm having to split the cost with a flatmate for the dubious console) & really looking forward to the quality difference between GOW & whatever first-generation ps3 title i pick up! Hopefully this will eliminate the snide remarks i recieved upon loading my 360 on launch day to the overglossiness of PDZ. GOW Vs. Heavenly Sword i think will be the graphically-compared powerhouses of the 2.
but if they want to make a decent first game then they wouldn't release it until the 3rd quarter. Not unless you people love rushed development so you can have glitchy-ass games to have epileptic fits to.
aaaahhh, Rockstar. How you save me from buying a $200 paperweight.
we Blighters have to wait until September to get our zombie action on. I could import it but it usually means an extra £10-20 on the retail price & that puts a lot of pressure on the gameplay to live up to £60-70.
I'm currently with my 360 at a home with a stable net connection, by the way the saints row demo is smokin', but on saturday i've got to go back home to a house with no broadband! I can just get by without xbox live (let's me have a social life) but my heart yearns for new demos & arcade games to whack on the ole hard drive & show off to friends & company :) So to the great gods of Xbox Testing, PLEASE! Get this out by friday so I have some undead carnage to keep me going till Sep...
bit worried about the new graple system, if they try to limit the amount of moves compared to previous games then there'll be a riot. No matter how many times you can do your own areoplane spins. Weapon interactivity sounds much closer to the No Mercy days, maybe now we can ddt people onto chairs lying on the floor without the need for a special. Plus, looking forward to the kind of achievements they'd put up for this.
Now whenever a fanboy b*tches on the "wiiwii" one can turn around & say that we're all "entitled" to an opinion lol I know Sony have boxed themselves in with the comments they've made towards the other two companies but it's going to have to fight it's corner a lot harder to be taken seriously in the next-gen wars.
I see a lot of people remember how they got burnt with the PS2 hardware (online services, fizzling power cables & self-combusting DVD dri...
...that banned WWF Al Snow Action Figures because they deemed it carried a "severed head". If you know wrestling, you know how dumb that is.
