I can see why this game was delayed, it'd never stand a chance against the type of games coming out this holiday season. Smart move by a typically not so smart man.
This is what happens when everyone tries to use industry buzz words like "core". I bought a Wii right away and couldn't have been happier with it. Looking forward to Zelda Skyward Sword later this year!
Hopefully you can hack it like the PSP, then it might be worth the price. First thing I did with the PSP, pretty good device to play classic games on FOR FREE!

Season Passes are good if your the type of person who buys a lot of DLC. I have all the Gears 2 DLC, so I know Epic will at least do a good job with Gears 3 DLC as well. You save money in the long run, which is a good thing.
I would never get a Season Pass on a game I didn't play a lot, like every day. So it would have to be a Gears, Halo, Call Of Duty kind of game.
And they say there are no games on Xbox 360. Look's to me Xbox 360 owners are buying games in swarms!
I actually hope Shepard sacrifices himself in ME3, it would only be fitting. Start the next trilogy off with a new character and maybe keep some of the current ones in their too, just to make it seem familiar.
More people buy and play Madden then a number of other games, like MAG, Socom 4, Killzone ect...
How exactly does two PSP titles beat Halo CE remake? Which also comes with online functionality and terminals that help with the Halo 4 story line.
Your really comparing apples to oranges, Halo CE was completely remade, not just upconverted to HD.
Nobody forces people to buy it. I know some people who buy it every other year or every few years.
This years title will be the first one I've bought since 2005.

Sweet! Now that's how you make achievements accessible! Cant wait. One of the things I disliked about Forza 2 was how long and hard it was to get the achievements, Forza 3 fixed all that and now Forza 4 looks to continue on with where that left off. Cant wait!
Have had this pre ordered on the Xbox 360 for a while now. Bethesda knows how to market their games to everyone, unlike a certain maker of Battlefield 3.
I'd expect Microsoft to purchase exclusive first rights to the COD map packs again this time around. Not like they don't have the money.
This is looking pretty cool, but I doubt the player amount, COD is a smaller, tactical game. The maps are supposed to be more like COD4, which was perfect for 6v6 and maybe 8v8 in ground war. I don't think they will go changing that now.
COD isn't Battlefield, they shouldn't try to bring down the fun level...
Loved Conviction, it was the only Splinter Cell I've been able to finish. Great story, graphics and voice acting. Would love a new game in the same vein.
It doesn't bother me in the least. I usually don't buy DLC for games, unless it's like COD or something. So I guess it's nice getting maps a month earlier.
Not getting them earlier or extra content wouldn't stop me from buying or playing a game though.
Well I wouldn't waste money on remakes with such a strong lineup of other games. Rise Of Nightmares is one on my buy list though.
The same PS3 fanboys complaining about Microsoft milking Halo will run out to buy God Of War 4 and the God Of War PSP collection, or Ratchet And Clank 5. Gran Turismo 6 or whatever it is.
I never seen such a insecure bunch of people. Obviously Halo sells very well, the community is great and the competition is even better then that. Halo was evolutionary in the FPS genre for home consoles.

I was convinced that Halo 4 would be a launch title as well, but the fact that Microsoft is doing so utterly well, I'm starting to doubt it's a launch title. Also we've got rumors of Fable 4 in 2013.
Not that I'd be completely surprised to hear Halo 4 and Gears Of War Exile as Xbox 720 titles, as it would make sense to announce new trilogies on new hardware. Plus we've been hearing a lot about Crytek working on something for Xbox 720.
