It definitely needs to be given a chance to be experienced in order to appreciate it. People tell me they've seen videos of it and it doesn't look fun but well
1. A lot of people take a lot of videos out of context just to make it seem bad
2. You really just need to experience it for yourself for a few hours and you'll see it
Why would he get a free pass? The game gets a lot of crap and mostly for unwarranted reason. I love the game but if anything should be criticized it's things like that product placement. But then I suppose journalists didn't talk about that issue much so people who didn't play the game couldn't cry about that in particular. Then again it's not like it's a major issue either. I do feel it's weird that Sam drinks monster energy drink instead of just water when he'...
MGS4 was one of my toughest but it's far from impossible. It has no bugged or multiplayer trophies for one. And the author doesn't seem to realize you can skip cutscenes.
Also, I found this one harder to get than Bloodborne but I do have to admit Bloodborne was pretty tough.
Still, they're much more possible than games that have bugged trophies. The first Dragon Age had that issue. DA deserves a spot there more than MGS4 or Bloodborne. At leas...
I don't know about them but I'm having a lot of fun with it. It felt a bit like a chore in the first few hours but I got hooked a short while later. It's still slow-paced but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
But like everything else not everyone is going to like it.
What the f are they thinking? That'a probably the worst move they could have done after all that's happened.
You need to pay a subscription to play solo or in private servers? What the hell? Why couldn't they just use PSN/XBL for that? People already pay subs for those anyway.
Finally someone who gets it xD
I feel like it's because everyone would expect the game to score at least 8/10 since it's an exclusive, high profile game.
Low-budget indie game gets a 7 and no one will call it bad for it.
Perhaps "killing it" is an exageration but I would agree that they are killing it if we compare what they've been doing lately with what they were doing a couple years ago.
Of course it's not as good as the first trilogy but it doesn't mean Andromeda is bad at all. I agree it was really unpolished in some areas but I still liked it a lot. It's definitely not a bad game as most people seem to want to make it out to be.
Pretty sure it's just Troy Baker comparing what role he was playing in 2009 vs what he's doing ten years later.
I feel they tried to do that but not all the way either. The game feels like a single player game for the most part and the survival elements are quite basic.
I'm pretty sure the game is a test. Like you say, they don't seem to have put much effort into it aside from the multiplayer feature. I think they want to gauge player reactions to an online Fallout because it's probably something they were looking into for the next Elder Scrolls (and probably Fallout 5) b...
The game does feel empty- I'm not going to argue that. If you ask me, all they had to do to make this game awesome was to use the exact same formula as the other Fallout games but include optional coop. I'm fairly certain that's how most people play it. I've come accross griefers but most players will just ignore you entirely.
With that said though, I haven't experienced any bug or glitch yet. If you ask me it seems like the one of the most stable Bethe...
It looks all right on its own I suppose but I don't think I'm buying it either for similar reasons. It's my favorite series but they should just leave it now.
I don't play PS3 as much these days but I was one of the early buyers and I have zero regrets.
I would say the Switch doesn't face nearly as many challenges as the PS3, however. For one, journalists appear to be favorable to it. A lot of people I talked to back then were just repeating what they read online and called the PS3 a giant toaster and all that (I didn't have many intelligent conversations about videogames that year xD)
The biggest d...
I don't think so but it's possible. No one thought the PS3 would make a big comeback lastgen but it did.
It's a pretty good game. Looking forward to playing it again myself.
I'm also from Canada and I got the theme yesterday. Still waiting (more like hoping) for the Horizon DLC now.
They don't explain why it's "not possible". It's actually 100% technically possible. The reason is likely because Sony and Microsoft have different networking standards and each would require the other to adhere to theirs. It's more of a political reason than a technical impossibility, really. From what's been said so far, apparently the ball is in Sony's hands.
Then again, Final Fantasy XI connected players from PS2, PC and Xbox 360 so I&...
I wasn't aware there was controversy. I guess I was too busy playing the game that I didn't bother going to N4G xD
Great game! Best of 2017 so far IMO.
I enjoyed replaying Shemue 2 last year. If Shenmue 3 is even a slight improvement over Shenmue 2 I don't see how I could be disappointed. Simple as that.
