I disagree with the Halo lighting comment. No question, KZ's lighting is top notch, but at the same time the lighting in Halo was no slouch. Graphically, I definitely expected more from Halo, but from a lighting perspective I've always thought that bungie did a good job.

I own both systems and can say that XBL is still the better service. Is it miles better? no. PSN is a good service, especially for it being free. And Im sorry, hiphopgamer is a certified sony fanboy. Like him or hate him, how you can deny he's not is beyond me...

Wow, seriously who cares so much about sales? Quality games are out on all three systems....well two systems at least. Why are you guys so hung up on sales so hardcore for? You guys are either spinning numbers to minimize losing or bragging about a win? WHO CARES. I want Alan Wake, I want Killzone, I want Gran Turismo, I want Halo Wars. I admit, I was a non believer. Now, this game has brought me to my knees...I can no longer argue against it. February can't come soon enough.
It is easy for us to say lower the price but at times like now its hard to do so. Its been said many times that the playstation brand is only a portion of Sony's powerful arm. I always laugh at this because you guys have no clue how much Sony depends on the playstation brand for overall profitability and sales. There were articles last year showing numbers of what the gaming division means to Sony and pretty much a very large chunk of Sony's success depends on it.

Several points people should consider and I'm sorry to say it but alot of people have been in denial because of their choice in console. I own both a 360 and ps3 so I don't carry a bias to either.
Here are some points you may want to consider:
1) If Sony is to catch MS, I think it's safe to say that it won't happen until 2010 and possibly even 2011.

Damn. I thought it would've done alot better. I played the beta and it was good. Personally, I love COD4. I know some of you don't like it but for me I'm good at it and a ton of my friends have it so it always makes for good times.
Even tho I'm not a fan its safe to say the wii is pretty much out of reach for the ps3 and the 360. The 360 and ps3 are siblings who hate each other but for this gen they're going to have to co-exist with each other. The ps3 does not need "saving" but it would help if the price came down. The system is an excellent value but its price is out of the reach for the majority (average).

As long as the 360 is $199 its not going nowhere. Sony is still gonna makes its run but the 360 is gonna be there either ahead or just behind. There is far too much uncertainty right now for the average consumer to be buying a $400 machine versus a $200 machine. Is the ps3 a better buy in terms of value? Absolutely. You'd have to be a fanboy to deny that. But its hard for people to pony up that extra $200 (The average consumer).
So...every single system in video game history has pushed out some fantastic games originally thought not possible towards the end of their console lifespan. And now, all of a sudden the 360 is the exception to the rule? Honestly guys, this fanboy stuff is really getting out of hand. I'm not saying you have to like the 360, but at least lets be sensible about it. This site is going to hell and the fanboys are taking it with them.
