You know it’s a sad day when people consider higher resolutions as “better graphics”.
"I bought the game day one and waited until Sept to play and didn't get his official name 5o play with because I hated Akira."
Wow... I mean, I don't know how you were able to last so long without playing it. Then again, I would just call him whatever if he didn't even have a placeholder name.
I actually grew fond of Akira Kurusu, so I'll just keep calling him that lol
cough Contra 4 cough
Amen to that, bud.
Dunno about Pro owners, but developers do often go for a higher resolution, sadly.
My solution was to stick to PC gaming for multiplatform, to avoid 30fps locks and the like whenever I can.
But I can’t speak for everyone, as I’m sure there’s plenty of people out there who’d rather see games in higher resolutions. Whether those same people are even able to tell the difference between those higher resolution without having someone tell them, is a different ...
Fair enough. You make a good point.
What? Why do I it sound like it’s only about 5 people?
I meant there’s a lot of people that fall for their games each time, and then go about writing pieces such as this complaining about how much the company and their games suck.
Not that I disagree with those people, mind you. But I stopped buying EA’s shiny turds years ago.
Very impressive little guy.
People should really stop buying their games if they’re gonna be complaining afterwards, year after year.
Thankfully, neither of these comes close to the disaster that was No Man’s Sky last year.
Not saying these game so are perfect, oh no, but NMS was just about the absolute worst game launch I’ve ever witnessed.
Agreed.
Game’s a classic, no doubt, but its combat mechanics and camera were annoying back when the game first came out, and even more annoying now that we’ve got games that have heavily improved upon these few aspects.
Ii you’ve never played this game, do yourself a favor and go play it now. Otherwise, there’s really no incentive to double dip.
What the hell is he getting so many disagrees for?
Have people here even played a Monster Hunter game before?
Unforgiving: A Northern Hymn is also pretty scary, though it does get tedious at times.
For what its’s worth, I recommend at least checking it out for a bit.
@naruga
I wouldn’t count on it.
They usually save G class stuff and subspecies for later games.
GIVE ME ROLLER COASTER TYCOON 4 ALREADY
There
I gave you an agree so you stop feeling sad :)
Behold! Common sense!
Let its glorious light be cast upon your blind, unworthy eyes, N4G haters!
“Early Access is a mistake for the console market where the average joe expects a finished product.“
Agreed, assuming the average joe is, by definition, some moron who can’t read the bloody label on the front of the case that clearly states this isn’t a finished product.
They’re neither advertising it as a finished game, nor charging consumers what a finished game is worth.
Also, how is this suddenly an issue for the likes of you, when ...
It’s not.
2K is actually 2048x1080, which has an aspect ratio of roughly 17:9, I believe (correct me here if I’m wrong).
Whereas 1080p (or Full HD) is 1920x1080, with a more standard 16:9 aspect ratio.
