It varies from game to game.
Console developers usually sacrifice even the smallest of things to achieve a mostly consistent 30fps lock. And it's not like these machines have power to spare, specially if they prioritize resolution.
I truly doubt next gen consoles will achieve 4K/60fps on this game, not without some massive trade-offs.

I wouldn't know, I haven't played the game, but it has had some very mixed reviews since release, that's for sure.

Nintendo didn’t rely on 3rd party software back then either.
Love how Edge still uses the good old 10 points scale correctly, where 5 actually means average instead of unplayable garbage.

Except Epic has no problems with allowing their users to play together regardless of platform, and not playing the game would only hurt THEM, not Sony’s investors who would actually be able to push Sony to stop this nonsense.
