Keep the control concepts as they are. Of course tweak them to make them a bit tighter, but its why i loved killzone 2 and is probably one of, if not my favourite online FPS on a console.
Every move felt deliberate, there was more to it than just simple twitch-action-shooting, i loved that and for me, it suits a console very very well.
A dragon age: awakening size expansion for Mass effect 2 would be brilliant!
The PS3's brilliant security was a direct result of how they messed up on the PSP. I love the PSP platform, to the point where i even bought a PSP Go, because i actually like the idea of the system, with little problem - except its launch price.
But its hard to ignore the PSP is not even a quarter of what it could of been if it had not been hit so hard by piracy. It is a shame, it really is.
Rendering graphics on screen in certain resolutions is all code, changing the resolution of a game will make no difference in the size of the demo.
Things like audio, texture quality and detail would effect the size, but not the resolution, or things like lighting.
Coming from a launch PS3 owner, and one who is very much enjoying god of war 3 right now.
What was the general justification for paying £450 - £500 for a PS3 at launch? "Its powerful, it'll be worth it. "
So why can't the same people who were saying that, say the same for PC gaming? You pay more, for better performance, and more functionality. Fair enough if you don't want that and the lower console performance is good enough for you, but there i...
Yeh, thats right. Ignore some of their primary games like Half life and Half life 2, some of the most highest rated games in history.
There are some great people at the Xbox division, but in terms of Microsoft on a whole, i think even Ballmer has admitted to this - the company got a bit wrapped up in the business side of things over the last few years.
I do hold out hope though, they seem to of realised this in most of their divisions and are doing some pretty interesting things. Windows phone 7 series seems to have style and some originality about it.
The wii proved it isn't essential. But, the way i saw sony's move was that, they make a good percentage of what we could call 'hardcore games'. I thought they could be the ones to help bring the hardcore gamers on side in terms of motion control.
I don't ever want to rule out motion control, but i don't want it to be a complete standard, ruling over the controller/keyboard mouse - but i still think it could be good if done well in certain core games.
^^
Start, because MS have not made a PC game in years now.
When people mention the PC version, they mean what the PC version is actually capable of given you have sufficient hardware.
Its really annoying. I'm really looking forward to this game, but its hard for be to get multiplatform games on anything other than PC - so i want to get it for that.
I could get it for 360, just knowing that i could play it at better graphical levels and performance would grind on me. However, ubisoft has this stupid DRM scheme going and refuses to show the PC version at all, which is making me want to avoid it for the DRM and i'm a bit worried that the PC version could be just ...
I wonder if they'll make it available to Silver members, i don't pay for Xbox live gold anymore, if not - i'll just wait for the PC demo.. if there is one..
I didn't actually expect some of the comments in this thread.. i'd care if it was intended to be a portable console.. but it isn't.. so i don't..
He just likes attention, he'll review bad games with great scores and good popular games with bad scores.
I think it was around 5m difference. Based off the 33m Sony announced a few weeks back and what MS announced in their financial reports too.
I'm always playing my PSP, and i'm one of the few people that really liked the idea of the PSP Go. Sure, it was overpriced, but i still bought it and since then my PSP usage risen 10x, the old PSP 1000 i had really hurt my hands, and wasn't portable at all.
It has some great games that no one ever talks about, so no one knows about them - but if you look around, you'll find some fantastic games.
It would be a conflict of interests, Epic make the Unreal engine for multiple platforms, including some of Microsoft's biggest competitors, if they were under Microsoft's control, they may limit who they can license that engine out to.
Epic were a development team, they have gone on to become a few development teams and a the development tools creator, in the Unreal engine. They are massive, its not as simple as "Microsoft should buy Epic".. Epic more than likely would ...
Testing the power of n4g, kind of got out of hand. But my results were fantastic!
