Wrong Activision boss.

I'd be more impressed if it had been:

"Crysis 2 Sound Design Is 'Breathtaking' - Senior SOUND Director"

What is the animation guy doing talking about the sound? Talk about the animations, my friend! Will the tea-lady start talking about the gameplay engine?

"However the idea that you would focus a FPS game like Bad Company 2 on the PS3 seems ludacris and borderline insane."

I liked how he spelt "ludicrous" the same way as the name of a certain rapper...

I've used MS Office since Office 95 and it really is brilliant. However, due to a lack of finances this year, I've had to resort to OpenOffice and to be honest, I can't really tell much of a difference. I'm sure for the hardcore professional for whom MS Office is an absolute necessity, OpenOffice is probably lacking but I've found that I've been able to do everything I use to do with MS Office.

LOL - Typical Konami. Release a patch/DLC for boots and formations, and it ends up fixing the whole damn game!

Apparently, a lot of the folk who were slating the game, are now reporting its been much improved. But if the patch was designed to improve the gameplay, surely Konami would be shouting from the rooftops that this patch did exactly that?

I think Ra's al Ghul is being saved for Batman AA:3 - I bet he'll be revealed to be the "puppet-master" of everything as far back as Batman Arkham Asylum 1 - I have the same theory for the new Batman movies. Ra's is meant to be immortal so I doubt he died in the train-crash at the end of Batman Begins.

Someone at Ubisoft liked playing 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' it seems...

NO, NO, NO! Enough of this obsession with online-everything when it comes to video games. As if the preoccupation with DLC hasn't already left a sour taste in my mouth. The day this becomes the only way of playing a game, is the day I give up being a gamer.

It's a shame - I really like a few of the games on XBOX360, but the negative (RROD) outweighs the positive (pretty brilliant exclusive games).

I'm English but I would LOVE to see Assassin's Creed 3 set either during the American War of Independence or later in the American Civil War. That would be my absolute dream scenario!

I'm really upset at the moment - my XBOX360 RROD in June this year after buying it in February 2008. It's in warranty so it was sent away for repair and I received it a week later which was all good. Since Monday of this week, everytime I switch the XBOX360 on, there is a deep rumbling that emanates from the XBOX for a few seconds. I recognise the sound from the last time it RROD - it seems I'm possibly a few months away from getting another break-down.

I really don't understand ...

One of the funniest (and cleverest) posts I've read on the Internet - bravo!

I don't think there'll be a definite answer until after Xmas, but from everyone I've talked to, from friends, family and casual acquaintances (I'm from the UK, by the way), everyone has their eye on a PS3. That could have something to do with the fact that most people already have an XBOX360, and are either investing in a PS3 for the upcoming games (for those who know about such things) or the Blu-ray capabilities.

Yeah right - more like her boyfriend was one of those "pirates" who had their XBOX's banned. He probably gave her the go-ahead to smash it up.

The scene itself will probably resemble the first scene in Rocky V (after Rocky beats Ivan Drago), with Rocky in the shower, acting all moody and serious.

Kudos to XBOX for being the platform of some wonderful games over the years. But the RROD issue is a bit of a downer (to the say the least), and really shouldn't have happenened. Hopefully their next console will be better thought-out and manufactured. Personally, I loved the original XBOX (I bought one on launch!) and at the time it felt like some plucky little underdog taking on the might of Sony's PlayStation brand. I love it so much I actually take it out occasionally and fire up Metal Ge...

This story made me chuckle.

I don't even think the marketing was to blame. I reckon the only reason it's not doing AS WELL AS expected is that Microsoft jumped into this gen so early and pushed the XBOX360 out first, knowing full well that Sony weren't ready with the PS3. Of course, things are changing as we speak but it will be interesting to see how things change again when Natal and PSWand are released.
