Agreed, this should be delayed. Not sure I really want a game at 30FPS in 2023. I will wait until 60FPS is aded.
I hope they start doing something about all of these violent movies that they sell then. Also, I'm not aware of any other countries having this bad of a mass shooting issue, and to my knowledge they play the same games as in the US.
I have an Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. Quite honestly, I don't think even MS thinks this will help them retake the lead. This system is for a different audience, and about giving a choice to the consumer. A $500 system will not take the lead regardless of what it brings to the table. At the end of the day I love them both, but MS will not catch up to Sony.
It doesn't blow it out of the water, but does look better than anything I've played on my PS4 Pro. As well it should though.
I love it! Exactly what I was hoping for. I have a high end PC, but also a need to share this game within the house. Xbox one X for me on this one since I can't share through Origin on PC.
Trying to ruin the experience for PC players? It launches today on PC - relax and give everyone a chance to enjoy it.
I really liked the first Crackdown, and I have an X1S, but I would probably just play this on my PC in 4K. As much as I want the X1X, I'm having a hard time justifying the cost.
I kind of went this route and it is not ideal. I have 2 Titan X hybrids in SLI and thought that would be a lock for 60FPS @ 4K for pretty much all games. Certainly it can be if games are optimized for it, but in many cases you are lucky if SLI is supported (especially at game launch). Seeing as how a GTX 1080 can be over clocked, I'm really thinking a GTX 1080 Titan (or whatever they will call it) is going to be the single card solution to get for 4K. If so that will be when I switch ...
Multi-player games are not usually the type of game I would play, but I have to admit, I really like this game. I think overall ratings with numbers as scores are just too subjective. I would say this game is "a buy" and worth the purchase. It was especially worth it for me as I was able to gameshare it on the PS4 so my son and I could both play it.
I kind of look at this like I do with Star Citizen. In that game you can buy ships that cost $2500. For some people this is acceptable because video games are their primary source of entertainment. Although I may not be that guy buying a $2500 spaceship, I'm all about technology. I will own every gaming device and have a high-end PC to ensure I can play any game that comes out. To me this asking price of $599 is worth it considering the new tech we will be getting. I pre-ordered and...
I agree with you on this. That wouldn't have made this list for me either. I enjoyed that game.
I'd have to agree with him and his comments on this game, especially at the $60 price point. Luckily I get 10 hours on EA Access to play it which quite honestly will be enough for me anyways. Maybe one day when it drops to $20 I'll pick it up. Seems to be worth that.
Not sure I'll buy this until a price drop due to not having a campaign mode, but I can tell you this is one of the best looking games I've ever seen in 4K on PC. It looks amazing.
"I decided to put my money into Phantom Pain, as I’m assuming it’s going to be the biggest game of 2015."
How about forming your own opinions and buying games because you are interested in the franchise or game? Having said that, MGS5 has better production value, but you can't compare the 2 directly. I've been having fun with both, and Mad Max is worth more than $10.
Not even sure if my Blu-ray drive works. Only buy digital for X1, PS4 and PC (Steam). Not worrying about the physical media is awesome. Sort of like music, I don't know many people that still buy CDs (although I'm sure some still do).
I agree. I wasn't sure if it would be worth it at first, but EA access was a good decision.
Unless you want to take a bit of time to sell on eBay, you won't get much for your used games. Even then you may not get much. That's kind of why I moved to digital. That and I just love having everything accessible without having to get up. (Yes, lazy I know.) :)
I enjoyed the alpha, but not enough to pay $60. I thought this was going to have a single player campaign as well. Oh well, I guess I'll wait until the game hits 20 - 30$ or the vault in EA access.
Awesome! Perfect for me. I only buy digital for PS4 / XB1 / PC. Only system I buy physical is Wii U due to its digital game policies.
Agreed, I'll wait until I can play this at 60fps.
