Trailer is awesome but as the article even states, its CGI.
Looking forward to seeing some gameplay though, could be great
To be fair Sony originally said end of the month (May) so if it is back by the end of the working week (Friday) they will only be 3 days late
well Sony did say the end of the week.. and what do you know this developer says the end of the week. Not exactly news imo, I mean yes Sony's quote could have been interperated as Friday or Sunday but that's not a massive difference
So because Sony took away the other OS functionality you want to take away jobs from thousands of people. If they make large losses they will end up laying people off... What did these people do to deserve that?? It wont be the people making the decisions that suffer
worst comparison article ever?
although it's impressive, if this wasn't created using LBP and was a PSN title it would be a complete joke. And that's what I don't get, It might be very creative to make a game like this within LBP but is it honestly fun to play??
and would also of made development and publishing of those games pointless lmao
why??
from the current list theres only 1 game I haven't played and from your proposed list there is only 2 (and that's in part to the list being much longer)
End of the day you can't please everyone. This is all about trying to make people go aren't Sony generous more than some form of compensation, after all you did agree in the EULA that psn could be taken down at any time...
point being this is a good will gesture an...
own everything bar ratchet and clank so looks like i'm picking that up and may get infamous to play between now and infamous 2's release since i traded my retail copy back in
I would have bought it but since psn went down the day i got socom 4, yesterday was the first day I got to play that online so will be playing that for the coming weeks. Had psn remained up chances were that by now i'd still be playing socom but would also wanna pick up another game such as brink.
Now it's either a rental or a cheap steam deal purchase
yeh another reason why it's a rubbish comparison. If we must do comparisons could we at least wait for official screenshots/trailers?
Yeh I reckon they should introduce cards you can buy in the shops like MS offer... Oh wait.... http://www.game.co.uk/Acces...
This really got approved....
Yeh it's got me playing my pc a bit more. Got in on the BFBC2 deal for £6.80 on steam yesterday too. Already own the game on consoles but pc version has nicer graphics, more players and a different player mentality. Can't argue at that price too!
game looks pretty poor now compared to when I first saw it: http://www.gametrailers.com...
then again the pc version may well still look rather nice. Certainly going to rent this game though as I was a big fan of Wolfenstein:ET
Although I don't see why a reliable source would go to 'southern fried gamer' ?!?! instead of a big site, it does make sense. The mention of 31st May certainly got a lot of mainstream media sites quoting this as the date of PSN's return.
Sony have however stated that PSN wouldn't 'FULLY' be back up straight away but it would be rolled out in phases:

A new Rainbow six game would be great. Loved Vegas and then Vegas 2 was basically a map pack rather than a sequel.
For me Vegas struck the right balance between realism and fun.
But my point is the tweet they are basing this off has absolutely nothing to do with PSN....
Well end of the day it will be back up when it's back up. Working in Support I know that we attempt to solve problems within a timeframe however who's to say how long it will actually take?
They had to rebuild their network or whatever (I don't know the techy side of networks) so I doubt that's something you can really put a date on....
Exactly, Tomb Raider may have gone downhill over the years and Uncharted 'taken it's place' but this looks to be a good return. My only doubts is that this is only a CGI trailer.
