Well hopefully they green light some good DLC content if the sales aren't making them enough money. I'd love for them to do a prequel section focusing on Cid's backstory.

Buying the disc version PS5 has been one of the best decisions I've made in ages. I've easily made up the difference in savings in my first four months with the console. Maybe it's different in other countries but in England, it's always cheaper to buy from retailer than the PS Store. Then there is second hand sales and such which is invaluable for younger people and those on a limited budget. I don't think physical media in gaming at least isn't going anywhere.
It's neither great nor bad imho, my only worry is the 4 dlc characters this season, if we are going to drop from 6 new characters per year to 4, it's going to mean many players like me will be waiting a long time before we see our mains again.
I'd say it's the other way around. You clearly haven't played Lightfall. The story is worse than the original Destiny and felt like it was written by a 12 year old Marvel movie fanboy. Bungie would be an amazing studio if they could do storytelling on the same level as some of Sony's studios.

I think Mihoyo have almost single-handedly changed gamers perspective of mobile games, they did mine at least. Ui and Hub bothers me far less than the gacha system. Gacha games are daylight robbery and will instantly turn me off this if they think I'm going to spend the price of a brand new AAA game just for a chance of pulling something desirable.

I generally hold older FF games in higher regard than the newer ones, I hated FF13 and thought how FF15 turned out is an insult to the franchise BUT FF16 is amazing, it's everything I had hoped Yoshi P could do to a single player FF game. Also Clive is imho one of the very best protagonists in the series. Everything about it is top notch.. apart from the side quests.
