If you have better weapons on the map that doesn't mean it becomes about s. In that case it's just about learning what is where and remember spawn timers. That works fine for something like UT, Doom, etc. but I wouldn't want that in a more "realistic" shooter.
A good player will outperform a bad player even if the bad player has a "better" weapon.
I'm amazed by how much you know from looking at a single picture :D
It could be great yes, but getting a boner from a generic first person shooter box cover is ridiculous :)
You do know that one if the big features of Battlefield always was vehicpe variety right?
They are seriously having that under the Windows System settings where people don't look instead of having the option in the store settings?
Whoever design that whole thing should get replaced. Maybe they could hire someone from Valve :D
Even GoG Galaxy is much more userfriendly and functional.
Jep (ignore the jep and see response below :D), and for me the server frequently "losses connection" and doesn't remember where it left off the download and kicks it off again from 0%. Can't believe they can have such a crap online store. At the current rate I will be successful with downloading in a few weeks.
True there are weapons that where also used in WW2 or even after that (by smaller nations because they couldn't afford the new expensive weapons), but in general the weapons where not that great and mainly bolt action rifles. The submachine guns came only very late and hadn't been used that much.
WW2 offered a lot more variety for weapons and also vehicles because tank and areal vehicle development wasn't very advanced during WW1. The selection of tanks is ver...
I think it would be great for a singleplayer game similarly made like the old Medal of Honor from Dreamworks and more focused and tactical multiplayer. For me it doesn't sound great as a large scale multiplayer Battlefield game and it would play very slow if the weapons and vehicles would be somewhat accurate.
It's less of a stretch to make a shooter entertaining that is set after WW1 and somewhat has some accuracy than doing the same with a WW1 setting. Especially for a game that always had a big focus on using vehicles. There isn't a huge choice for those in WW1 and the weapons are also not great.
I think it's a WW2 coat.
While WW1 has some interesting things like the old planes it's not really something I would look particularly forward to play online in huge battles. I think it would lend itself to an interesting and intense singleplayer campaign but not interesting large scale multiplayer.
Am I missing something or is the review only a few paragraphs and more ad's than review?
Certainty don't see full scores from Giantbomb often. Can't wait to play the game and see for myself how it holds up.
If it is set in WW2 I hope they scrap the campaign and go multiplayer only. Besides of the BF3 and BF4 campaigns being boring it's annoying how the allied forces are in most cases shown as the super good guys ignoring all the stuff they did.
Going back to WW2 would be nice especially since I always like using planes and modern planes are just too fast :D
Depends on how they work and their ressources. It might be easier for them to finish first the Japanese version and allow them to release the Japanese version as soon as possible.
You should really boot up CoD3 if you think the graphics look the same.
Even if it would be accurate it's unprofessional behaviour. They should let their game speak and not behave like some teenage fanboys.
There is no denying they have a sweet engine with Frostbite, but that doesn't account for much when their last 2 mainline games where broken for a long time and BF4 taking 6 month to get to a state where it's playable without constantly cr...
Honestly besides of Bad Company the last great Battlefield was originally a mod for the first game. Dice certainly should be thinking about shiting on others when their recent track record is anything but stelar.
I'm not sure what it's proximity has to do with being Slavic or not, but yes they are. Just like the Czech, Slovaks, etc. are Slavic.

I actually think it looks interesting. I don't care what the "fanbase" (aka people that don't like CoD anyway) thinks because they bitch anyway. The trailer still looks grounded despite of having space sections, the campaign could be very interesting (jep I'm that kind of person that also plays them because of the campaign). Kind of like Starship Troopers still felt very grounded altough it had space fights and huge alien insects.
Edit: For me it does...
It's fantasy set in a medieval European place. It was not common to run into people of colour during that time. It could happen but you could have easily lived there without ever running into someone. Do you want to complain that games set in Africa don't have enough white people and are not inclusive? Resident Evil 5 must have been really offensive to you with all those villagers of colour and not enough white people in that african country.
It has nothing to do wi...
Codarossa usually whoever makes the game would get the bill for the production. So if you make the game you would need to pay for the cartridges or discs because they have the production factories.
Could name it Battlefield 1918, Battlefield WW1 or something else. Any name is better than Battlefield 1. If you have uninformed and less inteligent customers they see BF1 next to the BF4 box and think BF4 is newer :D
