That would be a valid point if there wouldn't have been games before that had been badly optimised. Just play the unpatched version of The Witcher 3 and you will see large drops in FPS.

Keighley doesn't write the commercials. It's the marketing departments of those companies that make them. So I don't see why he should get crap for the companies making bed ads. It's like complaining to the NFL if Budweiser would make a bad commercial they air during Superbowl.
Well deserved. He also showed a great understanding with his speech of the importance of the people that make games and the work they put into them. It showes that he worked a lot with ND and the developers and didn't record his lines for a few hours and go back home.

Nintendos E3 presence has been very hit and miss in recent history.
EA press conference had been quite bad and a lot of people just skipped them. EA will be still present at the E3 just not with their conference and that's hardly a loss. All of their stuff will be shown at the MS and Sony shows.

Gamescom lost some momentum in recent years especially when they moved it to be within a few weeks of TGS.
I think you look at it from a movie perspective where it's more like one person rules over all the others. Games don't work that way and are in large a team effort where you don't just have one person ruling over the opinion of all the others.
If it's a handheld what is the battery life on that? Nintendo rates the 3DS between 3.5 and 7 hours. Something with the power of at least the X1 wouldn't last long and I would also question the size.
I don't really think the tone is that different. All previous UC games had plenty of more serious portions. There are still a lot of fun parts in the game that make me laugh.
I think they have outgrown Crash Bandicoot. As much fun as Crash is, for ND that would be a side project because if you change a lot it's not really crash anymore and to keep it like it is with updated graphics could be done by another studio.

Probably it's going to be somewhat rushed. My guess is they won't be into complete and full production until BF1 is done and they can move people over to work on the new Battlefront.
I know those "high market" news sites try to get more hits and try to expand their audience by also including games, but they should really start to get people who hae more to do with games.
