@Finalomegas
I think that after these last 7 years, whoever buys one system for a third party exclusive is a total, big, idiot that has not understood anything.
Publishers will continue to do this PR BS, as you call the, because there's lots of stupid people that eats the bait.
If you buy a console for a first party exclusive I can agree, but if you bought a console for a third party supposed exclusive or just some better textures or framerate...t...
There are 2 scenarios:
1-WiiU won't be around for more than 3 years.
2-WiiU won't sell more than 25-30 millions of pieces in a 5-6 years lifetime.
Anyway, Western third party devs are overall annoyed with Nintendo since it's the Fourth time that Nintendo screws with them, N64, Gamecube, Wii, WiiU; so I expected less support for an eventual new Nintendo system.
The bad thing is that too many people purchased a WiiU.
It was clear from the announcement that the machine wouldn't have been able to keep third parties interest.
There are 4 millions of WiiU users against 140+ millions of PS3/360 users.
Where do you think the game will sell more?
Developing games is a business.
The more platforms the game is on, the more money the devs is able to earn.
More money, more resources, better g...
Bayonetta 2 is next.
Everything is going by my road map.
Most stupid article ever.
Release the same game for the same user base...
Developers are not idiots like the guy who wrote the article.
They do business and work for money.
Nintendo fanboys are desperate because WiiU will probably be the last Nintendo console and 3rd party devs won't even consider making gamnes on the platform.
Devs should listen to the fans.
PERIOD.
I just think people like the new DmC for how easy it is.
DevilMayCry 4 has superior character models and better voice acting and even graphics are better even if they're not in controllable 33D envyronments.
Plus 60 fps.
People must go to play DevilMayCry 4 again.
Yesterday I booted DevilMayCry4 in my PS3...
I suggest you all to do it.
The game still looks beautiful even if it's 5 years old and plays very lovely.
It's more challenging and just a pleasure to play stylishly.
Even with its flaws, like the backtracking it's still a way superior game.
DmC is good, just...not good enough.
If they did it on purpose I will love Sony even more.
Bayonetta 2 is not mentioned MWAHAHAHAHAH!!!
@ElectricKaibutsu
Yeah, touch screens for me are "whack-a-moles" and small screens are not my cup of tea for gaming experience.
Bought a Gameboy when I was youuuuung, bought only Tetris and Battletoids.
Loved Battletoids but played Teris much more.
I bought a PSP, it collected an amount of dust that is beyond imagination.
I have an iPod, bought Infinity Blade 1&2, Rayman, Chaos Ring Omega and guess what...the game I play mostly ar...
Great, so Nintendo will sink even deeper.
Or, to put it in other terms, "we made a machine that does a lot of things but does it with old tech"
Resistive technology on the pad is shameful.
The more times passes by, the more I dislike Nintendo.
Never stood their characters, I hate Reggie, I disliked Iwata and with Nintendo direct I hated him more.
I never heard Ballmer or Hirai complain that people didn't understood the 360 or PS3.
I frankly hate this irr...
oh...teh LOLZ!!!
This design looks like a boiler.
That's it but Nintendo fanboys won't ever accept it.
WiiU had the chance to lunch with 2 of the biggest franchises of this gen: Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 and Assassin's Creed 3 and they totally bombed.
The sales are low and the attachment rate is bad.
WiiU has 2,6 millions consoles around and it sold 1500000 BlOps2 and 110000 AC3 that means 5.7% attachment rate for BlOps2 and 4.2% for AC3 compared to PS3 72,3 millions consoles, 11,82 mil BlOps2, 4,54 mil AC3...
I'm curious about the "dog".
I think it's the idea that was taken out of Vanquish :p
LOLOL, with a trailer?
I heard great things about Xenoblade and this X trailer looks VERY good and Square-Enix is not what it used to be but...seriously...with just a trailer?
Nintendo fanboys are getting desperate these days.
They're the worse fanboys I have seen, seriously.
Sega owns the IP. Period.
Basically Kamiya is saying this in a polite way:
"If Nintendo won't give us money to extend the duration of the timed exclusivity period, we will consider the contract fulfilled, and we will release on other platforms"
The problem is that fanboys don't see the reality.
Nintendo "saving" Bayonetta is PR speech, just to put Nintendo in good light with consumers.
Funding does mean a lo...
