Yea I know, that's why I threw in the GTX 690 in my statement. I only made reference to the Titan because it's the latest and greatest.
It looks like AMD may have pulled a fast one on NVIDIA. I'm a NVIDIA fan but I have a feeling that 8990 is going to rape the GTX Titan and GTX 690. I'm glad I decided to wait for the GTX 790.
@kenoh - Do you think the 700 series will be released this year or pushed back to 2014? My two GTX 560ti's (2GB) are aging. =(
I'm starting to be torn. I don't know if I should get a Titan or hold off for the GTX 790. I would hate to miss out on this card trying to wait for the next best thing and the 790 isn't as good.
They are only making 10,000 cards for the entire world?!?!?
The site must have jumped the gun. They pulled the page.
Take my money please!!!! I'm begging you!!!
Damn the pictures of the card are pornographic. Welp I guess it's time to pull out the Visa!! Lol
I doubt the 780 will be 10% less than a pair of 680s in SLI like the Titan. Remember the 700 series is just a refresh. It won't be based on Maxwell. Besides, once the 700s come out I could buy another Titan for SLI and that would blow away the 700s.
I think I'm going to get this card. I know a lot of people think it's overkill, but I don't agree. Now if you are gaming on ultra settings with one 1080p monitor then it would absolutely be overkill. However, they're people out there that game like me. I am running 3 27" monitors at 5760x1200 with 2 GTX 560 Ti's (2GB) SLI. It is difficult for me to run the newer games on ultra with high framerates. Two GTX 680s SLI wouldn't provide the bandwidth for multi-monitor ...
The Titan is for PC gamers with Multi-Monitor setups running games on ultra settings at 5760x1200 and up. If you are running a single 1080p monitor then it will be overkill.
I really hope Nvidia doesn't try to pull that garbage! I really wanted to buy the Titan.
@zebramocha From what I understand, the Titan isn't a part of the GTX 600 or 700 series. My theory is that the Titan is an entirely new line that is above the GTX line. Only hardware enthusiast need apply!! If I'm right I wouldn't be surprised if every card in the Titan series is $700 and up.
The Geforce Titan is for people running ultra settings at high multi-monitor resolutions like 5760 x 1200 and up. 6GB will definitely come in handy! I can't wait!
I'm very excited about the PSP2! However the PSP GO hit the stores at $250, PSP2 looks like it will be $350 the more and more I hear the rumored specs.
I'm a whore so I'll get it regardless. I can't wait!
I think this could actually work. All developers would have to do is develop PS3 games as if they were PC games. The games that they develop could have "min" specs and "recommended" specs. The games with the min specs would perform just like the PS3 games do now. The games with the recommended specs could have the enhancement such as a higher resolution (all games in true 1080p) or higher framerate.
It would be like buying a new console for like $100 ...
Hey fat chicks need love too....BUT THEY GOTTA PAY!!!!!!
Now will you be able to connect the two turntables to one another to have true DJ action? Or are the two turntables only for multiplayer only?
I see Warner Bros showing official video at Comic-Con in July to build the hype. It is weird though to see video of a movie 3 years before it's release date.
All this GPU news is killing me! I'm now trying to decide between a 7990 Quadfire, GTX Titan 3-way sli, and GTX 780 4-way sli. I have all the other components for my new build except a GPU. I'm only gaming at 2560x1600 right now but I don't want to have to upgrade my GPU when those 4k monitors become affordable.
