@cartoonx1 The game runs great on both cards and when idling the frontier has it beat by a few frames consistently which might be where they are coming from. I do see where you are coming from except the statement that it was faster at every sequence. I'm sure they could pick a few other titles that the frontier would smash the 1080 on. Keep in mind also that the witcher and gta5 usually run better on nvidia cards.

This was pretty good results actually. Hopefully the ve...

The 1080 had a lead at certain sequences and so did frontier. It was very close honestly for this title.

For me Sega is still the real number 1. Phenomenal PC support and game making. The console business is just so disorganized and corupt. I don't blame them for taking their amazing skills elsewhere. People/gamers didn't recognize their best as the best.

Consoles are losing momentum deservidly so. Pay for online and other new anti-consumer trends are their downfall. Long live sega! And to the rise of indie makers.

What are the system specs?

Big update. Thanks Valve

Honestly the console industry isn't really as good as when SEGA was in it. That combination on Nintendo and SEGA was great. Now that Sony has shown dominance it's too small a pond for all 4 (Xbox). I like their approach on PC anyways. Live long!

Also consider getting a PC. It will last you longer, you can get the experience you want (not what a company picked), and playing online is free (hidden costs)

Consoles are built to be replaced. PCs are here to maintain :)

@OB1Biker

So if I watch movies regularly what are you going to call me? If I read books? If I wrestle alligators occasionally. Their convenience is not our convenience. If a word is in the dictionary it doesn't mean it has to be applied especially to describe a person that maybe doesn't play on a regular basis. It is a bad assumption and a bad setup. Even if they play heavily they don't have to be viewed or categorized a certain way.

Then peop...

Best review I have read in a long time. Gamecrate.

"But it’s also old and its age is showing. Its fanbase is shrinking. Its sales are dropping. Its mechanics, while reliable, feel stiff compared to shooters like Destiny, Overwatch, Titanfall, and more." They are not talking about the shooting mechanics obviously because the controls in duty are second to none.

They really need to take the gameplay a different route. The arcade combat thing has ...

That would be awesome. I can see the bill for it now LOL

Player by itself could cause problems. Perhaps its best not to apply a label to yourself in the first place. It causes less of a scene. Could be at the bar and say I was playing this game not scream out Im a player

I think when gaming was first getting established to let people know the industry needs to be taken seriously it was okay to title or count its numbers as gamer ranks.

Nowadays it totally useless to use outside of Esport. Some people want to show their passion or be counted as a videogame player thats fine. But this placeholder name should chill and people need to accept there isn't a good use for it when referring to others.

Don't really think your point is as concrete as it seems. Why wouldn't he have pride and use the word most attributed with industry people if he has been trying to get into gaming his whole life.

But if after weeks he decides to put up gaming is he a gamer. If he grows back into it do his friends call him gamer because he played again. Does he like how broad the term is for everybody else to be put into it? I dunno but it's a good question or assumption to have....

Just because he works for them doesn't mean he decided on names. It also doesn't mean they aren't trying to change it.

Why classify yourself though as a "gamer"? I don't buy it. For instance Mike is a mid to casual level gamer and he likes to consider himself gamer. Others might just want to be called Mike or a guy.

Game player yup. Cuz once you leave the game console are you then a gamer the rest of the day? I dunno. I don't personally think so. If you went to a movie afterwards or went camping do people call you camper all day long?

You can definetely wear that if you want. Just don't put me in that! Ugh lol

There are definetely gamers out there. It's just not everyone

I agree. The website should be called Gamingtime

Its kinda like moviegoers being called watchers. Its a silly way to categorize us. Id much rather not be called any demographical term.

Examples of satisfactory gaming references IMO:
1) Who will you be playing against: a female or a male at a game convention celebrating gaming. 2) I was playing on console or PC. 3) Q;Who is our product for? A;Consumers (if pressed say buyers-software). 4) Boy there sure are alot of people in line at Gamestop. 5) There will be no g...
